Steve Ewing does another great job in his trilogy of WW2 Navy fighter pilots (Butch O'Hare, Jim Flatley and Jimmy Thach). Thach's contribution was an important one in saving American pilot lives and dooming Japanese ones. He also like Flatley made important contributions to the Navy after the war.
