Her twin brother Michael was killed three months earlier; her mother Elizabeth’s cancer has returned with a vengeance, and the experimental treatment costs are out of her reach. When a friend suggests the $ex club Redemption to blow off a little steam, Jacqueline finds herself up close and personal with mystery man Dante (Langston), a man who stirs something deep within our story line heroine. An anonymous donor pays for Elizabeth’s treatment but all is not well when the treatments begin.
Meanwhile, Dante’s brother Lincoln’s life is about to implode, and our hero battles with head office regarding the investment into a company with questionable financial anomalies but Dante is about to drop everything when a call from Jacqueline reveals her mother’s failing health.
DARK INTENTIONS is a story of secrets, power, money and control. Dante Langston knows more about Jacqueline Archer than has yet to be revealed, and in this their connection may be deeper than anyone could have imagined. The premise is intriguing; the romance is steamy; the characters are battling personal and professional demons at every turn.
-->I do have one particular issue with the time line in this particular instalment. It is mentioned Dante’s mother was a socialite in the 1960s; her first husband left her in 1968, yet she supposedly just turned sixty years old (current time line). The story is set in the present as there is mention of an Apple™ watch, but to have been married in 1968, Dante’s mother Marguerite would have been seven years old…therefore, the author needs to re-establish a correct timeline otherwise Dante’s mother is not 60 but closer to 75-80 years old.
DARK INTENTIONS ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

A chance meeting on the beach in the Hampton’s finds Dante and Jacqueline rekindling their relationship, a relationship that is about to take a different turn. Dante is struggling with a recent account, and Jacqueline may be the perfect foil to uncover the who and what of the man in charge. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Jacqueline and Dante, and the potential fall-out as Dante’s past refuses to remain buried and gone.

DARK SINS: Told from dual first person perspectives (Dante and Jacqueline) following several paths, DARK SINS picks up immediately after the events of Dark Redemption wherein Jacqueline and Dante have reunited in the Hampton’s, and the demons from Dante’s past begin to make a reappearance but all is not well in Dante’s life, when his mother, brother and estranged father make demands that Dante struggles to commit. As Dante continues to battle with a questionable business account, Jacqueline offers to go ‘undercover’ in an effort to find information about the who, what and why. While in Seattle interviewing for the job, Jacqueline reconnects with an old flame that pushes Dante out of her life.
DARK SINS is a revealing and haunting addition to the Dark Intentions series. Charlotte Byrd pulls the reader into a world of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, power and control. The fast paced,character driven premise is gripping and intriguing; the characters are edgy but flawed. DARK SINS ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

Jacqueline and her mother have been mourning the death of her brother Michael but recent information has come to light regarding Michael’s supposed demise. Searching for answers, and struggling with the potential betrayal of the man with whom she was falling in love, Jacqueline reconnected with someone from her past, a reconnection that was about to give fodder to Dante’s need to push our heroine aside but Dante’s life was quickly spiralling out of control, as Jacqueline is caught between head and heart not knowing whom to trust including our story line hero. As Dante begins to reveal the truth about his past, Jacqueline will discover that her relationship with Dante has placed a target on her back, a target she may not be able to outrun.
DARK TEMPTATIONS is a revealing and intriguing story line wherein Dante reveals the struggles and abuse of a young boy growing up in boarding school, and his need to exact revenge against those who did him harm. Learning at the feet of father, both Dante and his brother Lincoln, now find themselves paying for sins of the father, sins that now threaten the people they love. Not wanting to place Jacqueline in the direct line of fire, Dante and Jacqueline go their separates ways, never forgetting about the love they left behind but Dante’s father has plans to retaliate against the people he believes have done him wrong, and in this Jacqueline will find herself reunited with the man that calls to her heart. Years will pass, Dante and Jacqueline will move on with their lives together , start a family, and look forward to their own happily ever after but the past, once again, resurfaces, and with it betrayal from a familiar but not surprising source.
DARK INHERITANCE is an intriguing story that closes several open ended plot points involving a number of secondary and supporting characters. We learn about the depth of betrayal, and the truth behind Dante’s father’s ongoing troubles and ‘desire’ to run, as well as Dante’s brother’s Lincoln marital woes, and growing family. Jacqueline and Dante spend a large portion of the story line apart, each moving forward without one another but once reunited, the story line skips several years wherein our couple look to the future, all the while, continuing to look behind. The slow building premise is captivating but felt rushed to the finish; the characters are impassioned; the romance is intense-the $ex scenes are limited .

Dark Intentions: A dark enemies-to-lovers secret billionaire identity romance
A secret kept, but for good intentions.
Dante & Jacqueline have a very slow burn going on. Her best friend convinces her to go to Redemption, a sex club, where they meet. Dante travels a lot with his job, but he goes to sex clubs in various cities throughout the US. Jacqueline only has a part-time job, but has a lot going on in her life, such as her mother having cancer. There is an experimental trial that her mother gets approved for, only they can’t pay for it. They are attracted to one another, and that stops both of them from being with anyone else. They meet again at Redemption at a masquerade party. They keep in touch, until Jacqueline doesn’t anymore. Dante has a secret he’s keeping from her, which she finds out at the end of this book. Well, how is this going to turn out going forward in the next book. I can’t wait to find out.

Deeper and deeper you go in this second book.
Dante & Jacqueline’s story continues in this second book of the Dark Intentions Series. One of Dante’s secrets is revealed to her by accident. She’s very mad. It causes them to separate for a while. There are things revealed to the reader, but not to Jacqueline; one of his other secrets. They meet again in on the beach in The Hamptons; she is on a mini vacation with her best friend, and he is on the same with his brother and sister-in-law, who are very involved in this story, as Dante’s mother is. There is a revelation at the end, but not about any of Dante’s secrets. This story turns into an investigative one going forward. This doesn’t take away from the steam between Dante and Jacqueline, though, once they get back together. I’m looking forward for all secrets to be revealed, and all the reactions to them in the last book of their story.

Dark and mysterious!
This book picks up where book two left off. Dante & Jacqueline and her mother are now looking into her brother’s care accident that may not be an accident. She also has to go for an interview in Seattle for a new job, that will also help Dante out finding what’s going on with that company. She does get the job. In the meantime, Dante and Jacqueline break up. Then, Jacqueline meets her ex from high school. Wow, there’s so much going on in this story. There’s mystery and darkness and each one has their pasts; his much worse than hers. There’s anticipation with a few story lines going on at once. It’s a terrific book and series with steam between the characters. An then, there’s a cliffhanger, too. Gee, I can’t wait for the next book to find out what happens on all ends. I highly recommend this series. Please read in order.

Great fourth book in this series!
Lots of action in this continuing story of Dante and Jacqueline. It is so mixed up. How will they ever get out of it? Things aren’t go well for his or her family. There are lots of things revealed in this book; answers Jacqueline was looking for. She is not happy, not with her brother or Dante. There are so many twists and turns, but it’s easy to keep up. This is an intense and suspenseful love story. I’m so looking forward to the last book in this series. Kudos Charlotte Byrd for keeping your readers immersed in this ongoing story.

Omg, what a great ending to this series!
Dante and Jacqueline’s conclusion is best of the best. All kinds of emotions and twists and turns are happening here. I’m giving no spoilers either. Once I started reading this book, there was nothing else I did until it was finished. I couldn’t wait to find out how their journey ended, and I have to say that it was superb. I love these characters so much. Please read the whole series. It is amazing!

There are lots of things revealed in this book; answers Jacqueline was looking for. She is not happy, not with her brother or Dante. There are so many twists and turns, but it’s easy to keep up. This is an intense and suspenseful love story. I’m so looking forward to the last book in this series. Kudos Charlotte Byrd for keeping your readers immersed in this ongoing story.

Omg, what a great ending to this series!
Dante and Jacqueline’s conclusion is best of the best. All kinds of emotions and twists and turns are happening here. I’m giving no spoilers either. Once I started reading this book, there was nothing else I did until it was finished. I couldn’t wait to find out how their journey ended, and I have to say that it was superb. I love these characters so much. Please read the whole series. It is amazing!

Dark Intentions: This is the 1st part of the Dark Intentions series. Once I started reading, I could not stop! It is That good! My emotions were all over the place. It’s Dante and Jacqueline’s romantic love story. There’s some mystery, as well. What is Dante hiding from Jacqueline about his past?
Dark Redemption: The second book in the Dark Intentions series is awesome. Dante and Jacqueline’s relationship is on, then off, then back on again. It will keep your head spinning! When they’re together the attraction is hot and intense. I couldn’t believe Dante’s mother’s reaction to the money situation. That was a bit harsh!! I am so curious about the secret that he’s hiding. This part of the story is exciting, entertaining and romantic.
Dark Sins: Book 3 in the Dark Intentions series is another emotional roller coaster ride. I’m So loving Dante and Jacqueline’s story. Their chemistry is undeniable. There are so many twists to keep me flipping pages. Drama, secrets, lies, and suspense aplenty.
Dark Temptations: Dante and Jacqueline’s story continues in the 4th book of the Dark Intentions series. If fact, it picks up where book #3 quit. I’m enjoying this twisted, emotional drama so much. There’s plenty of action, suspense and mystery. And lots of sparks, as well.

This is The Complete Dark Intentions series all in one box set and it is Dante and Jacqueline’s story and it is definitely a must read. Dante and Jacqueline meet at a club called Redemption and there attraction and chemistry is off the charts hot and intense and it sizzles off the pages but she has a lot going on in her life as her brother has just died and her mother has cancer and without treatment she will not live but they can’t afford it and then they are told that a benefactor has paid for her mother’s treatment taking some of the pressure off so now all they have to do is hope it works but even though Dante and Jacqueline have a strong connection and start spending time together he is keeping big secrets from her that if revealed will cause even more complications. The twists and turns keep coming and you will be on the edge of your seat while holding your breath but you will still have to keep turning the pages to see what will happen next. The storyline will pull you in right from the start and have you completely hooked and you will not be able to put it down as it is so addictive and it will keep your attention throughout. I definitely recommend you read this box set and you will not be disappointed.

Dark Intensions Box Set is an edgy and dark series which focuses on the forbidden mafia romance between Jacqueline and Dante. Jacqueline is trying to recover from the loss of her brother, Michael, who was also Dante’s best friend. Dante watches over Jacqueline but after a one night fling between them he becomes obsessed with her. I could not put this intriguing and mysterious series down until the last page. Charlotte Byrd has written an excellent dark forbidden romance with amazing characters, secrets, lies, suspense, danger, plot twists, revealed truths, sizzling passion, and a difficult journey to love.

WELL, this did not disappoint. The story goes through some extreme twists and turns that bring trouble and danger. I feel like this is a suspense building story. It starts out slow and it slowly creeps from one situation to another. It feels like each step is calculated. OH EM GEE!!! This is getting deeper, more serious, sexy, steamy as I continue to read and danger is right around the corner.

This is the perfect way to grab this complete series with no painful wait times and only one simple click. Jaqueline and Dante's story will take you on a colossal roller coaster ride that with have you totally breathless and anxious, while your poor heart is put through the wringer. Intense and oh so suspenseful, with a sizzling attraction that burns brightly and an attraction that feels almost seismic, this is a rich and luscious tale that is a sinfully decadent way to get your read on. This is my elective, objective review.

Another great series by Charlotte Byrd. It grabbed my attention from the beginning to the end. Jacqueline was a strong lead character enduring her brother’s death, her mother’s cancer treatment and the whirlwind Dante takes her on with his family and their problems. Dante knows he has done bad things in the past but over all you know that he is a good guy who loves Jacqueline. It was heartbreaking that they go through so much drama. I ended up rooting for Dante, Jacqueline and all the characters to have happy endings.

4.5 Stars!! If you want to read the whole series without having to wait for the next book to come out, this is the perfect way. The entire series all in one box set. This is Dante and Jacqueline's story, and it has lots of twists and turns that keep you reading to the last page. Lots of good suspense as well as really good steam. Great book to read!

This is the complete Dark Intentions Series Box Set! This is Dante and Jacquelines’s Story! Omg what a story it is!!! This series had my emotions all over the place. I couldn’t stop once I started reading the first page of the first book, until the last page of the final book. What a rollercoaster, seriously! The only thing I can say is this Author is BRILLIANT!!! It’s a must read for sure! Can’t wait to read more by her!

What an adventure! This set has everything! steam, angst, intrigue, passion, betrayal just to start! This box set is wonderful....you build up to the next part of story just as one book wraps up and can pick up the action with the next! Each book was different as the set worked it's way to the finale! What an ending I did not see coming!

This is the complete series of Dark Intentions. I was captivated from beginning to end. So dark, twisted and intense with all the secrets and lies. Jacqueline and Dante are off the charts hot together. These two have so many twists to navigate but what a ride. A definite must read.
