Tessa Copeland has worked at Quinn Financial since she graduated high school doing data entry. She's now one of five supervisors in the department but still has only a cubicle for an "office". She hates her job but the salary and benefits can't be beat. To make her job even more miserable there's Jason Bennett, the IT supervisor. He's always calling her "Blondie" and shows up every time she's in the coffee line and there's a snarky comment from him every single time.
Jason Bennett also hates his job at Quinn Financial. The bright spot of his day is seeing Tessa. Deep down he really likes her but he's been let down by women in the past. He dreams of a career change but it's hard to give up a good salary for something you might fail at.
Tessa and her best friend, Samara, have planned an extravagant trip to a resort on Maui. Reservations have been placed at the resort and she's booked her flight when she learns Samara fell from a horse and broke her foot. She's unable to bear any weight on that foot and can't go on the trip. She's unable to change the dates at the resort, her flight is non-refundable and she can't afford to pay for the trip by herself.
Jason suggests she post a Craigslist ad. She does but time is running out and all the responses she's received are from scammers or weirdos. Finally she receives a response and arranges to meet a man who's interested. Too bad and just her luck, it's Jason.
But there was that one kiss at the company holiday party... The kiss he's never wanted to talk about. The kiss where afterwards he became difficult to deal with.
Will Hawaii be the continuation of something that was seemingly once promising? Or will they kill each other?

This is the 2nd book in “The Vagabond Novel Series”. Tessa has planned the ultimate vacation with all the bells and whistles to Maui for herself with her best friend. Tessa’s best friend has broken her foot and can’t go on the Maui trip. Tessa can either back out of the trip and take the loss or she find someone else to split the suite and the cost of the Maui vacation. Jason is the sexy co-worker of Tessa and the two experienced a hot sizzling kiss at the holiday party and Jason has been acting like a real jerk ever since the kiss. Tessa post for a travel buddy and guess who answers the post none other than sexy Jason. Tessa and Jason are a piece of work, love the chemistry and romance between the two.
Will Tessa’s dream vacation to Maui turn into something special with Jason or will the two return to work with Jason continuing be a jerk?

A Vacation with Your Nemesis
If the only way to afford an amazing, much needed vacation was to let the (sexy) coworker you hate come along, would you do it? Tessa does.
This is an enemies-to-lovers story with plenty of snark, steam, and a beautiful Hawaiian setting. If you've read book 1, you'll enjoy getting a glimpse of Samara and Nick's HEA, but if not, you can still enjoy this book as a stand alone. Tessa and Jason are fun characters with a whole lot of chemistry. Their rocky past makes for believable tension and makes the long-last happy ending that much more satisfying.
Be warned though, you'll be desperate for your own romance-filled vacation by the time you are done!

This is a new author to me and I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
Tessa is between a rock and a hard place. Take her office enemy on holiday to share the cost or loose money. Her best friend is unable to go so she must find someone else in a hurry. Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
The back and forth bickering between these two is wonderful and truly entertaining. The point at which this changes is excellent.
Kryssa writes amazing stories with depth, likeable characters, humour and heat. Looking forward to the next book.

This is a fun and very entertaining Enemies to Lovers story that had me laughing.
Tessa and Jason work together, he always seems to be around, give grief to Tessa. So much, complaints to HR on both sides in not uncommon.
When Tessa plans for a vacation crashes after her friend has to back out, Jason suggested to advertise on Craigs list. This last person she expected to answer the ad was Jason himself.
It was a great read as you watch them let their hard feelings aside and enjoy their time together.

Not sure I would be like Tessa and put up a Craiglist's ad to find someone to join me on an expensive trip to Maui lol - if you can get past that premise the books itself is a fun read with clever banter between the FMC and MMC.

Great chemistry between the characters throughout the pages. The storyline flowed smoothly and was well developed. Nice read for a relaxing afternoon to get your mind from everyday troubles.

love a good forced proximity romance, add enemies-to-lovers and it's pretty delicious, but also super sweet. The couple is a lot of fun and it's really hard to say no to a vicarious trip to Maui. I also love that we got to see a tiny bit of Samara and Nick from book 1! Love it!.

Another fantastic instalment in the series. Deliciously hot and steamy. Great characters, and a well written storyline. Would recommend. Cannot wait for the next book!
