Great guide for beginners. Covers all the basics.

This book answered a lot of my questions, being a first time chicken parent.. but also raised a bit more considering I bought pullets from my local store but there is no way they are as old as the book said they are. 😅 That's on the store though, not the author.
The information is laid out nicely and contains a ton of tips, recommendations, and suggestions.
I loved the additional references at the end! A gateway to so much more information.
A great book for anyone thinking about diving into the Backyard Chicken Game.

We found this book very helpful for our 3 girls. There was much I didn’t know especially why water is so important, how to treat bullying and molting issues, and a balanced diet.
