Kidnapped or rescued, it’s a matter of alien perspective. Either way, it results in pleasurable probing.
Abducted by a hunky blue alien, researcher and admitted geek Penny is eager to study his mating habits—in the flesh. She’d like to blame her illogical affection for him on hormones, but the erotic remedy just heightens her chemical imbalance.
Reg never thought a simple rescue mission would make him question his decision to remain single for while Penny drives him crazy with her never-ending questions, her simple presence inflames his lust—and causes havoc with his emotions. But is he ready to give up the galactic travel he loves so much to settle down with an earthling female?
Hello, my name is Eve Langlais and I am an International Bestselling author who loves to write hot romance, usually with werewolves, cyborgs or aliens .
I should warn you, I have a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing. While well known for my shifter stories, I am also extremely partial to aliens, the kind who like to abduct humans and then drive them insane...with pleasure. Or do you like something a little darker, more serious? Then check out my cyborgs whose battle with humanity have captivated readers worldwide.
Every novella I have read by Eve I have loved, but this one I was scared to try (shh dont tell Eve lol) I think it was the blue alien thing going on;) I was fortunate to have won this copy off of another blogger and I have to admit I loved this book and I will be going back to the first two books and reading them also. Eve always adds fun in her books, that's the biggest thing I like because when life throws you anything and everything you want to be able to open up a book or in this case a PDF copy and just lose yourself in the story and just have fun. I suggest this to any novella reader that loves some extreme hot sex and good humor.
Penny is living in outer space and just got a message she is about to lose her life until a blue alien man steps in to save her. Penny finds the alien Reg very sexy and she has very high hopes that this alien will probe her now that he has saved her.
Reg is now up for a new mate the thing is he doesn’t want a mate he likes living in space. His next mission is to save an earthling, what he finds when he saves her is a different story because he can’t keep his blue hands off of her.
Alien mate 3 is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone.
There was so many fun teasers I wanted to add, but I finally eneded up with this one. “What do you know, there is a heaven. How extraordinary, but I have to say, I didn’t expect angels to be blue.” “I am not an angel, whatever that creature might be. I am a Xamian warrior here to rescue you.” “A Xamian what?” Her green eyes widened. “Oh sweet baby corn, you’re an alien.” She flailed in an attempt to right herself in the gravity-free space. “You’ve come to abduct me, how grand!” “Rescue,” he corrected.
Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Plot/Storyline: 📖📖📖📖 Feels: 🦋🦋🦋 Emotional Depth: 💔💔💔 Sexual Tension: ⚡⚡⚡ Romance: 💞💞💞 Sensuality: 💋💋💋 Sex Scene Length: 🍑🍑🍑 Steam Scale (Number of Sex Scenes): 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (It’s hard for me to count length in audiobooks – some of these were definitely on the short side) Humor: Yes Perspective: Third person from both hero and heroine
(These are all personal preference on a scale of 1-5 (yours ratings may vary depending what gives you feels and how you prefer you sex scenes written, etc) except the Steam Scale which follows our chart from A Love Less Ordinary )
Should I read in order? It’s not totally necessary. The stories are loosely related in that the heroes all come from the same planet looking for their mates but each book stands well enough alone.
Basic plot: Penny is going to become deceased in a short while when the pod she’s staying in orbit around earth is going to be hit by an asteroid. Our hero Reg isn’t interested in a mate and tells his elders that. Instead of sending him to his mate, they send him on a mission to rescue Penny from the asteroid.
Give this a try if you want: - Denial of fated mates – hero refuses to be mated. He prefers space travel and doesn’t want to be homebound. - Rescue mission – hero is sent to rescue the heroine - Scientist human heroine - Explorer/warrior alien hero - Bit of a road trip feel – heroine doesn’t want to be dropped back off at Earth so she travels with the hero
My thoughts: I ended up liking this one the most from the series, but I don’t think any of them are anything I would want to reread. In this one, our hero isn’t interested in a mate and denies the oracle to find his mate. He ends up meeting our heroine on a rescue mission.
This one the tension built a bit better because the whole plot was a touch slower and they didn’t dive into sex together right away, which was probably why I liked it the most. It allowed them to get to know each other and let the relationship start to develop before they were intimate so I had some better emotional pull towards them.
Cock Stats:
Locations of kisses/intimate scenes: Book 3 starts at 70% of book set
This book was like the first two in the series. Nothing special but some entertaining scenes. That is, until the book was nearly finished. Then suddenly came the spanking scene, which is where I put the book aside and refused to finish it, no matter that it was nearly over. If a guy spanks a grown woman for punishment and she cries and pleads for him to stop but he claims it's "for her own good", that crosses a boundary for me. I'm all for an erotic spanking, but not like this. I don't know, whether the author turned it around to something more erotic after "the punishment" was finished and am really not interested in finding out. I've read several books by this author and have been disappointed several times, but continued to give her a chance, because some books where somewhat entertaining, but not again. I won't try any more of her books.
This book was read by one of my team members during a team challenge and thought: hot blue aliens, why not? So within one week I read the first two books and now finished the so far last one (hoping for more to come). And as the first two books it was a funny, quick read. Although the general plot is always the same in series, warrior has to find his mate and join with her, the author always finds something unique for the characters, like Penny asking thousands of questions and Rag's aversion of marriage. I like Eve's writing style, it's so funny. I really enjoyed this book.
This is book 3 in the Alien Mates series. This is by far the funniest book. I can't wait to see if there's going to be anymore. This story was about Reg and Penny. I laughed more in the story than I have in most of them so far. I hope that there are more in the series.
I believe this is the first audible book I think is better than the book itself. The humour comes across so well in audible. Good narration, I don’t know how these narrators can keep their voices so even reading some of this stuff. Reading this as a book I would laugh out loud but in audible I just kept giggling, much to my husbands amusement. The sex scenes were also really prominent on audible. BOOK REVIEW Loses a star for heroines’ stupidity in sneaking off the ship. What a cute fun read. Loved Reg and his not wanting a mate thinking and how the Oracle tricked him. Was finding Penny cute with all her questions until she does the TSTL trick of getting off the space ship after being told the port was not safe. Of course she gets into trouble and Reg has to save her. Then she gets all ratty with him when he tells her off. Apart from that one stupid incident this was a good fun read and I liked Ralph the AI computer. Did like the ending, really funny. I own the original version which has been read and reviewed previously but they are missing.
Oh my gosh, for such a short book I was highly entertained. Penny is so stubborn and used to doing as she wanted when she wanted, which I am glad she grew to listen and trust Reg in his knowledge of things outer space. I was really glad to listen to the relationship really develop. Reg just never knew what he was missing, until thrust upon him. I haven't read the others in the series, as this is book 3, but I found that it did not make much of a difference. It can be read as a standalone. The narrator did a awesome job, such a joy to listen to. The pace was perfect, the pitches was spot on. So much happens and there is great details, that you don't really realize how short the book is. It's not one of those rushed books that lacks anything interesting. I love Eve Langlais’ writing style, she breathes life into each character in such a way it teleports you into the world she builds. Awesome book, go grab your copy.
Reg was given the right to go get his mate he refused he doesn’t want to e tied down and not be able to go into space. Penny is in a pod orbiting earth doing experiments when NASA tell her there is a asteroid heading her way and there isn’t anything they can do to save her. So she shut off communications with them and as she praying to god for help this voice comes out of nowhere and says ok when she looks there is a big blue guy standing there and he tells her he is there to rescue her.penny can’t believe a real live alien is in her pod. But no time to waist he takes her back to his ship. But Penny is such a scientist she can’t stop asking questions and driving him nut. To shut her up he knocks her out. Reg is attracted to her and doesn’t know why but after some trouble she gets them into he finds out why. He has been manipulated by the Oracle because Penny was alway to be his perfect mate. So enjoy another good read!!

Penny is a scientist. She loves learning and also asking questions. When she meets Reg, an ET, she is over the moon excited. I liked these two together. They were fun and Reg did not know what to do with Penny. All he knew was that he did not want a mate because that was going to cramp his style. I have to say that I am loving The Oracle more and more each book. Some people do not like her but I think that she is going to get a bigger role in the books to come. I am excited for the next book whenever it comes out.
I've actually not gotten to the rest of the series so at some point I'll have to backtrack and read them. I didnt feel necessarily lost but I think it would have been better to read them in order. I think I'd get a better picture of them. Its also hard for me to do audio by itself without following along with the book. So, I'll have to get the book sometime too. :) It was a good book. Entertaining and loved the idea. It was super sexy times and I liked both Reg and Penny. Both stubborn and against getting hitched but hello chemistry and fate ya know? I recommend!
This is my first Eve Langlais story and it won’t be my last. This book was so entertaining, had so many LOL moments, totally enjoyed it. Penny believes she’s been abducted but in reality was being saved by Alien Reg, a very hunky alien at that.
Not many books out there where the heroine is asking to be ‘probed’, loved the humor. Loved how they fell for each other, after overcoming some miscommunication.
I ‘read’ the book via audiobook.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
This was another fun sci-fi sexy humerous read from Eve Langlais. I love her blue Alien stories and hope there will be more. This story took place mostly in the space ship and I would have liked to have had a longer book telling us about the couples visit to his Planet and perhaps an epilogue about their adventures as a working couple In a spaceship and hopefully some bluish little ones. Although I did enjoy this very very short story there seemed way too short and felt rushed as well. Loved he strong female heroine, the sneaky Goddess and the LOL humor. Hope AM4 doesn’t take too long.
3.75 ⭐️ This is my favorite of the three available books. Penelope and Reg’s love story is adorable. There is a bit of a grumpy sunshine trope that is just aces. Penelope is the inquisitive nerd that speaks to my inquisitive nerd. And Ralph (Alphies little brother) is my favorite character 🤣 Zero world building however and zero cameos from previous books. Overall, I had a good time and it was a great winding down from more serious books I’ve been reading.
What I liked about this book is the chemistry with Reg and Penny . Funny thing is both are so alike that reg doesnt want to consider the possibility that Penny is his soulmate. My favorite part is when the Oracle admits that she wasnt going to force him to leave space but she wanted Penny to accompany him on his travel. Lol ...medding oracle
With eve langlais your never disappointed in her work. This is a fun series and I never ride of it and seeing her world's expand and grow with all of the characters.
Ok Penny was annoying as hell. She really talked entirely too much for my liking in here. I can't say that I enjoyed her at all. still the book was ok to read, but I would have preferred another character.
I loved that these two were very sure about what they wanted, and that was opposite of what they got, until it wasn’t! That made getting what they really, really, wanted, all the sweeter when it happened <3
It all worked out in the end. Reg and Penny have their happily ever after! It was fun watching these two headstrong people figure it out. 🌶🌶🌶. Too bad this is the last of the series. Loved listening along with the audio.
