Shaking the Tree is Martin's follow up to No going back. Apart from being well written it is a wonderful, graphical insight into the lives and loves at Mothers Garden.

We were lucky enough to go and stay in the holiday cottage and to see for ourselves all the hard work and fruits of their labour.

Both books are a fantastic read and what a beautiful family and farm.

This novel is a fascinating humorous account of the joys and difficulties of an English family who left their home in England to live in rural Catalunya. It is fun and fact all at the same time. Riveting!
