Great resource for Colorado plantings, and for explaining what Xeriscape gardening is, and what it is not. I learned a lot and recommend this book to others looking to up their landscaping game.

Fantastic book on creating a xeriscape. They walk you through it from start to finish, including DIY planting and laying sod. I know I'll refer to this book frequently as we start landscaping our new yard. The only thing that could have made it 5 stars would be including an index of photos of suggested plants. I would have paid extra for that too - because now I am doing a lot of follow up research to see what these plants look like. The color photography they do provide is very helpful in seeing the landscape design as a whole though.

Seems to be a comprehensive look at xeriscaping specific to Colorado. I appreciated its thoroughness and photography, but haven't put any of it to use. The rating may change if I ever try to use it depending on the results

Had checked this our the local library, as I wanted to see how good the book is, before I decided to buy it online. IT'S AN EXCELLENT BOOK! I WILL BUY IT and believe it'll become my Xeriscape bible! There are plenty of pics and love the layout of the book.
