I loved the 90’s cosmic Marvel books when they were coming out and it’s fun to revisit that era with two of its chief architects in Marz and Lim.

Not bad. I could be wrong but has Eve ever appeared in the comics before? I hope she returns again because her and Adam make a good team. And it’s cool that this is the first part of a two part series. I’m excited to see the Silver Surfer side of things. Not sure why they’re deciding to tell this story now but it is cool nonetheless. It’s been a while since I’ve read the Infinity Gauntlet story but having this set right after it is a pretty smart gimmick to pull people in.

This was a fun story and set in the 90s like all their recent work and is about Adam being attacked and replaced by this new being called "Eve warlock" and High evolutionary is also involved and so is predictable where this story is going, but its about Adam being forced into a back situation and has to find a way to fight through it and so his friends are there to help and Dr strange too, and you can see the meta-commentary and when he is down, with the help of his friends he has to fight against Eve warlock and maybe High Evolutionary by the end..

Its actually a pretty predictable story and been done a lot of times but what I like is the art specially but those character moments for Dr strange, Genis-Vell and particularly Eve and she has such an interesting arc and they can take them in some interesting directions for sure down the line!

So yeah fun quick read and the story is predictable, but you will have a good time reading through it!

Another throwback series to keep readers interested in past content...

This one is set just after The Infinity War, with Adam Warlock leading the Infinity Watch. Classic art, classic characters, and a cookie cutter story make it fit 'just so' into the timeline.

A new coccoon appears and Adam Warlock is replaced by...A WOMAN! Eve(of course) Warlock takes all things Adam Warlock and goes out to be the better version of the original. Gamora and Pip call on Doctor Strange for some assistance and the High Evolutionary has words for his creation(s?)
----
Bonus: Best scene in the miniseries is the lunch break with Spider-Man and Daredevil debating which villains belong in their 'rogue's gallery'. THAT was worth more than the whole miniseries.

I like that they are making these throwback 2000s comics, but they have too much decompression from today tainting them. This would probably have been 2 issues during Ron's Silver Surfer era, but instead it is stretched out to 5 and not much happens. I like Eve Warlock and hope to see more of her in the continuation of this series (Silver Surfer Rebirth - Legacy). Since this was already continued from a Silver Surfer series I hope the new SS series continues in another version of this and maybe we can have a new Quasar series too for good measure if anyone is listening.
Even though this is mostly trite pablum, I enjoy that it exists.

Oh good let's trot out a golden eve, pretend we understand the High Evolutionary enough to write him, and claim a rebirth but rather just sex swap to marginalize Adam. Oh please you might as well have a female Silver Surfer ... Oh wait ...

I enjoy the art, Ron Marz’s riding is pretty smooth, and I did really enjoy the story of Adam vs. Eve warlock, are you kidding me? I really want her to show up again. My favorite issue was #3
