I grew up in a small northern Minnesotan town married my high school sweetheart, had two beautiful children and as soon as we could we moved to a warmer climate. I have worked with my husband building and decorating custom homes for years. After loving every kind of vampire book, movie and series I decided that I wanted to know more. I can write a book I thought, how hard can that be? Well.... But I stuck to it and finished my first book Royal Blood Chronicles Book One in August 2009. I now have ten books and three novellas in the Royal Blood Chronicles, two in Phantom Lives, three in the adult dystopian Pathogen series, two in h thriller/mystery series Silken Ties, with Corporate Ties and Thorns of Revenge and 25 books in total. My parents always told me that I could do anything that I wanted, work hard, study and do it right. I believe that and live that way every day.

I started writing this new vampire series for teens and their moms because I myself wanted something different to read. I was tired of all the modern versions of vampire books, there had to be more to these long lived beings. Where had they been what had they seen? I wanted, no I NEEDED to know more so Royal Blood Chronicles was born! As in Royal Blood Chronicles, Phantom Lives features strong female characters and action and adventure mixed with romance, friendship and a historical backdrop

Wow

Reading about Cain's life, certainly gives you a different perspective. Makes me want to go outside and enjoy the sky clouds and all, breath in the air and be thankful it's fresh. I like Cain and the fact he wants to atone for his past. Can't believe Damien, I want to smack him and say what the heck.

Editing is very poor, and one mistake drove me nuts, Cain refers to Luena as his aunt, but their mothers were sister making them cousins, made it hard to make sense of who was being referred to early. I love the story, but the editing seems to get worse with each book, and for the price it's not acceptable these books are the same price as many from big publishers that get edited by a real editor. These look self published, which I love self published and can make exception for mistakes when the book is free up to about $1.99 much more than that and they need more polish

Well another non edited book... Or atleast the kindle version is a complete mess, which makes it hard to read at times.

As for the story, I don't know... I love Cain, he's a great addition but I just felt blah most the time and then the book ended.... So now on to the next book... Not so excited as I was... Maybe it will get better.

I really enjoyed this book, despite the (again) poor editing. I do understand why others are venting because we are being good and supportive to the author by buying the books.

I loved how it was about Cain, not the Katrina show. Though 'insta-K-love' popped up a time or two.

Another fast pace book but well worth the read.
