Fantastic. Not too difficult for strugglers,

Vad andra inte ser är skriven av Gillian Philip och utgiven av Hegas. Ett förlag som specialiserat sig på lättlästa böcker. Inför dagens bokprat på särskolan (klass 7-9) snabbläste jag den här boken och blev glatt överraskad.
Hjärndöda, det är så de kallas. De som fått förmågan att läsa tankar och sedan tvångsopererats för att inte utgöra en fara för alla andra. De blir nämligen långsamma i huvudet och har ständig värk, men allt sker ju för att vanliga människor ska kunna kunna sig trygga. Lauras pappa är dock helt emot behandlingen, medan coola bästisen Sara gärna hånar de hjärndöda.
Laura börjar dock känna sig konstig. Det surrar och ringer i öronen det känns som om alla försöker pratat med henne samtidigt. När det står klart att hon tillhör "de andra" finns ingen hjälp att få hos tidigare vänner. Finns det hjälp någonstans?
Jag tyckte mycket om den här boken. Jag trodde det skulle vara en kärlekshistoria men det var betydligt bättre (och mer rafflande) än så. Hegas slogan "Lätta att läsa - svåra att motstå" passar fint in på Vad andra inte ser.

Although a very sort book it was really good. It's a romance and a thriller at the same time which I think makes a good exciting and romantic at the same time. Really enjoyed it that is why I gave it 5 stars

Känslan påminner lite om Scott Westerfelds Uglies serie vilket bara är bra. Bra att rekommendera till de som gillar sci-fi men behöver något lättläst.
