Lots of textual descriptions of variations of pockets; as in, descriptions of several kinds of inset pockets, then several kinds of side seam pockets, etc. Pictorial descriptions existed, but didn't cover all the descriptions in the text, which made the textual descriptions harder for me to follow. In a few instances, I found the pictorial examples were hard to follow.
I was looking for interesting ideas for pockets, which this book didn't have, except in a couple minor instances. And other books cover the steps for the various base pocket type with better pictorial descriptions accompanying the text.
However, someone who's looking for step-by-step directions for each pocket variation may find the book helpful.
