I received a paperback copy of this book from the author as a prize in a contest. This is my honest review.

I've never been a huge romance buff. I can handle it in a story but ONLY if there is something else going on. Melissa Cameron handles this balance perfectly.

I read this book in two days and I don't think I've ever cried so much while reading a story in my life. The characters are beautifully penned – each with their own strengths and weaknesses. At times, I felt sorry for them and at others, I wanted to reach into the book and slap some sense into them.

I experienced a roller coaster ride of emotions. I marveled at Olivia's unwavering loyalty to her friend. I fell in love with Mark's decision to support someone he was not responsible for and how he gave it everything he had. I was angry at Sarah and Jake for being so careless and deceptive.

This is a tale of friendship and how far the ties that bind it can be stretched. It is about making bad decisions and the circumstances that come afterward. It's about love, loyalty, and reaching deep inside to find strength we so often don't realize we have. It's a beautiful story and Melissa Cameron is a very talented author.
