Flint Rock, a retired pilot, searches in Chicago for a Chinese citizen's killer. Stolen art work is involved. Flint joins forces with a friend at the Chicago Art institute and ends up in South America by way of Paris. They defeat a Hong Kong mafia gang and help a former Mexican drug lord turn his life away from crime. A Chinese secret service officer becomes a Texas Ranger with Flint's help.
A mess involving Chinese tongs, Latin American drug lords, private detectives, spies, high level government officials, academics, an amateur detective, etc., all all of them so talkative that they tell all and bocome immediate allies of each other.
I love the characters and enjoyed the story. Found it hard to follow the story line though in a few parts of the story. Over all it was a good read. The second book in the Flint Rock series is very good. Glen's story line is much improved!
