James Patterson did it again. From the moment I opened this book it was very hard to put down. I enjoy the Maximum Ride series. I love Max and the gang and even some of the characters. I hated how the ending left me hanging and wanting more . There is one more book left and it comes out this time next year and I will be counting the days waiting to see what happens next in the end. Great read if you haven't read the series then I encourage you go pick it up and start reading it today.

Loved it. I haven't read a book that fast in a long time. I love the Maximum Ride series. That is not Angle on the front, that is Max. Angel is still 7 years old in the book....it could have been Maya? LOL I will never tell. The next and final one doesn't come out until February 2012. I better live that long, I want to read the ending!

So, I really like this book. It's starts with the main character (Maximum Ride) and her gang trying to stop the doomsday group form destroying humans. Max seems to be suffering from what seem to be depression because Fang left the flock. Max and her friend have split, with Fang making his own team. Fang is the love of Max’s life and the split has hurt her very badly. While dealing with this, Max is also dealing with a new member who she hasn’t accepted yet. This new member (Dylan) was meant to be a perfect match with the main character Max. Also, Max has learned that Fang is hanging out a lot with another character (Maya, Max’s Clone) this hurts max even more. During the book Max’s sister is almost killed by the Doomsday group. Seriously This book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. The Author told the story and made the twist and turn of the book so mind blowing that I didn’t know what to expect next. I would highly recommend that everyone reads this book. I would also like to note this book is the seventh book in a series and that Series has two parts with one being a comic book and the other novels. So far, I haven’t read a book in this series I did not like. So, I would highly recommend not just this book but the entire two-part series that includes all of about 19 books in total. The novels are called Maximum Ride and the comic books are called Maximum Ride Manga. Both are written by James Patterson.

I really love this book. It's about this girl name, Maximum or Max. She was in a science lab but, break out the lab since the scientists were studying on her. When she left she was thinking until her perfect mate, Dylan sneaked up on her. She got mad so, they had an argument. While arguing, Max's mum called her and told her that Jeb and Mr. Hans, the scientists have to tell her something that is going on. So, they went downstairs to the living room, sat down and Jeb told Max that she have to save the world and become a leader for the Gen 77, robot kids. Also, when she dies, she have to offspring with Dylan. Max's boyfriend Fang and his members teamed up with Flock (Max's members). They afterwards save the world from Doomsday and Gen 77 from ruling the world.

Angel wants to lead the flock instead of Max, with her powers of seeing into the future (there's a word that I've momentarily forgotten to explain it), as well as the usual telepathy and mind control. Angel in the end goes off on her own and the flock splits up for a little while while Max's vice becomes more annoying

Max is informed that she is to be the leader of the new generation of mutants, the Gen 77 kids (The Flock was generation 54,and the Erasers were generation 17), who have powers similar to the Flock's, as well as being heatproof, seeing thermal images, and more. Dr. Gunther-Hagen, despite warnings from Jeb, says that Max needs to breed soon, and that he has prepared a home in Germany where she and Dylan will be able to have babies. When Jeb and Dylan told Maximum about having a baby her mother say no cause Maximum spas too little to have a baby. Maximum didn't wanted to go because Jeb and Dylan wanted to have an experiment on her, so she told them no. Jeb told Dylan that she wasn't going to, but Dylan had faith that Maximum would change his mind. In the middle of the conversation Maximum asked Angel if she was going, but Angel said if Maximum wasn't going she wouldn't go. Another reason Maximum didn't wanted to go because
Maximum thought Jeb and Dylan wanted to harm him, but Jeb and Dylan just wanted to Maximum help save the 77Gens kids. All Maximum could think about is a prank. They were talking about the kids, but Maximum kept saying no still her her asked her to at least see the kids first. Max couldn't say no because he didn't wanted to be disrespectful or say no to his mom. So he accept to see the kids.

In my opinion, Maximum loves Fang and Fang loves Maximum, but they couldn't love each other because Fang mission was to protect Maximum. Fang didn't wanted to protect Maximum and love her at the same time. He was tied it to be over. So when she was in prison, she thought Fang was going to get her out, but he didn't. So when she got out of prison she thought it was an incident that Fang forgot about her, but she had faith that Fang's gonna come get her and go home but he didn't. So was mad at him. She couldn't stay mad at him that long because she love him.

I think I will give the book 4star because it didn't go as I thought. The book stared with Angel in prison and wishing her true love Fang's gonna get her out, but he didn't. The boom didn't tell us that they were dating nor how Angel got into prison. That's why I'm going to give the book 4star.

I downloaded the free 23 chapters from Amazon. When this series first came out our school librarian asked me to that read it. I teach middle school and read YA Fantasy. I read the first couple of chapters before giving it back telling her it just wasn't a me book. Well, I sawthis one for free and wanted to look at Patterson's writing style. I loved his writing. I thought it was funny and riveting. I realized however why I don't like the books. I just don't like main characters with wings. I'm good with flying. However, it was very distracting when he described the wings and I had to envision them in my mind. I realized I couldn't humanize birds. So, when he described wings, I saw birds not people. Hence, I didn't enjoy the book. I didn't purchase the rest of the book. I mean, who would pay more for an ebook than for a hardback! Plus, I had that whole wing thing, which was MY problem not Patterson's. I think any person who doesn't have trouble humanizing animals would love the book because the writing is so clever.

Maximum Ride and her friends have always had each other's backs because they can't trust anyone else. No. Matter. What. But now the flock is up against a threat unlike any they've ever faced. Just when they need each other the most, Fang is gone. He's creating his own gang that will replace everyone--including Max.


Fisrt off I would like to say, the author has won me over. Me being an urban author who has only been reading urban books since adult hood, I will admit i missed out. but not anymore. I promise that I am about to download the entire story and will be chkn out more titles in the future by this author.
This was a great read for me. I enjoyed it, it felt like I was there. I love max I love the story and I like Angel. Max is a gangster and she is loyal to her flock. This is really a great read. i wonder who max will end up with and who from her crew will stay down. I gave it four stars because it was not the full story, thanks for sharing that much Patterson.

Not sure what to make of this one so far! According to other reviews I've read most readers aren't very happy with the direction this book is taking and I have to say I'm not either. It really needs to have a killer ending or I'm afraid Mr. Patterson will have some very unhappy fans . . . including me!!!

I think I give this 4 & 1/2. This was a good ending for a little bit strange series. The life lesson I found was that all choices aren't so black or white, or wrong or right. Lots of times we just make the best choice we can come up with. I laughed at the teenage angst and cried at the drama and was totally carried away on the 'wings' of this story.

We have two Max, the original Max still having a shit load of trouble and a new love interest that she doesn't want,then there Max ll, Mayi. Fang is off gathering a new gang, not as easy as he thought

The title of the book is angle, this book is a friction and its start with 5 to 291 pages. It's about a friendship but at the end they become a love because when the one guy was walking around to the jungle he saw a beautiful lady walking at forest and after a long time he fallen love with her.

This was a great book. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to read. I didn't expect the ending though. I hope you love it as much as I do.
