An interesting collection of short stories from Pakistan. The first book of the series which started out as a competition to select some of the best writing from Pakistan has been excellent. A mixed bag of stories dealing with themes ranging from teenage lust, Sufi mystics, Non Resident Pakistani's and even a piece on urban geography (subject being Lahore's Shalimar Garden). Worth reading. The fragrance lingers for a while.
