The Law Society Manuals are designed to meet the needs of apprentices studying a range of vocational legal subjects on the Societys Professional Practice Courses. We hope that they will also be of assistance to legal practitioners. The aim of each manual is to provide a clear overview of the particular subject and to concentrate on practice areas of particular relevance to apprentices. They are written by expert practitioners and the Societys teaching staff. The authors of the manuals have contributed to this project with the needs of apprentices specifically in mind. This title is designed to provide a thoroughly comprehensive basis for understanding current conveyancing practice and procedure. It is intended to familiarise apprentices with processes and standard documentation used in residential conveyancing transactions. This manual incorporates recent developments in law and practice whilst dealing with the issues most frequently encountered by apprentices in this area.
