Randgruppenmitglied Erzählungen

Rate this book

a little book with six short stories about off-mainstream people. not quite upbeat, it conveys more of a general feeling of acceptance and melancholy with the world and its events - that's the way it is, this is the way we live and love now. in a prose as if someone wrote a diary.
in the stories there seems to be (a bit of) disdain for mainstream life and dishonesty in wishing for more independence and a more literary lifestyle, to be special, but in the end conforming to predominant society and economy, the rat race. needs some thinking about after. and maybe some coffee or sweets to console you, e.g. if you realise that some of the things written about are like your life. or s/gl-adly not so, that you are more cowardly or that you delude yourself in a similar way. or that you knew people like that...
