Mini summary:

Antonia & Cai help to remove a trolley from the seabed so the seahorses have a safe place to breed. As Jessica Antonia's sister is taking an interest in sea watch Antonia can't help but to feel she doesn't want to share or for her sister to start to get involved in Sea Watch. Antonia loses her necklace after having her hair washed but she has to go to sea watch to take part in the Guillemots release. Without her necklace it causes panic and distress as she won't be able to know if the dolphin pod calls her but Cai offers to ring her if his charm rings. As Jessica gets her own lucky charm from Antonia she's finally pleased as she took Antonia's necklace as she wanted her own lucky charm. As Cai and Antonia help with a call they sea a seashorse have babies.

A beautiful written story about saving the ocean

"Das Lied der Wellen" ist das vierte Abenteuer für die Silberdelfine Antonia und Cai, die dem Ruf der Delfine folgen, wenn etwas die Meeresbewohner bedroht. Müll, Fischernetze und andere Gefahren müssen sie beseitigen. In diesem Band sind die Seepferdchen in Gefahr, dessen Leben und Lebensraum von alten Einkaufswagen bedroht wird.
Doch das Meer ist nicht Antonias einzige Sorge, denn ihre siebenjährige Schwester Jessica fällt ihr immer mehr auf die Nerven und es scheint, als hätte sie auch ein wenig Silberdelfinmagie in sich - was Antonia überhaupt nicht gefällt. Sie fühlt sich schlecht dabei, aber die Arbeit auf der Meerschutzstation und ihre ganz besonderen Erlebnisse als Silberdelfin will sie auf keinen Fall mit ihrer Schwester teilen.

Während die ersten drei Bücher mich noch durchweg erfreuen, und sogar Wissen über die Umwelt vermitteln konnten, hat Band vier mich eher weniger gepackt. Der quängelige Dialogton zwischen Jessica und Antonia war mir zu übertrieben und Antonias Gedanken gingen ziemlich in Richtung Egoismus. Sie ist zwar ein ganz besonders starker Silberdelfin, aber bisher hat sie es eher verschleiert. Wenn es um ihre kleine Schwester geht, ändert sich das aber. Da machte es das auch nicht besser, als sich am Ende alles aufklärt.

Leider fehlten mir in diesem Teil auch die Delfine. Sie kamen zwar vor, aber weniger als bisher und besonders von Klicker, dem frechen Delfinkind, habe ich mir mehr erhofft. Die Dialoge hatten einen ernsteren Touch als in den bisherigen Büchern, wo sie noch lustig und neckend waren.
