A well worn spine, pages falling out - this was clearly my favourite of the series! Actually, I recalled that as soon as I saw the books - this is, afterall, the book I recall most of.
I think I can see why, a young girl is bullied mercilessly, unable to do anything about it - so similar to so so much of my school life. The fact that Mory is able to show her tormentors the error of their ways by taking the high ground and, effectively, 'winning' is something that I think many bullied people wish for...
Anyway, a better plot than the previous book though it continues to have its share of somewhat unbelievable moments. As an adult I wouldn't say its the best in the series but it has its appeal.
