EVERYBODY SHUT UP! DAMN I loved this book. The way it transports you to the scene is INCREDIBLE, I felt like I was right beside the characters, talking with them and shi. Danny is such an iconic main character, yeah he needed to get slapped sometimes but like... I loved this story I really did. Wish it never ended in a way, bc that ending didn't give me full closure but his farewell made me tear up and I ain't one who cries a lot with books.
honestly? just a bad book. weak character development, boring writing, bad communication with readers... it's actually a disappointment since the plot seemed so nice.
I read “Danny Boy” as a teenager. The book is involved in a sort of “Trainspotting” atmosphere. An interesting book to be read in the tumultuous period of adolescence.
