Acheron sets off alone on a grand quest, but he may need the help of some allies to truly complete his mission. . .

This installment follows Acheron as he gathers companions to join him on his quest. First up he meets a feisty thief catcher who also happens to be the elf named Lei'ella. Then they are joined by the master thief, Varden, who seems to have some dubious intentions. Lastly, the group recruits a young mage named Neirenn who is a bit eccentric and prone to get into trouble.

Not much happens in this volume minus recruiting characters. This webtoon series honestly feels like playing an RPG where you have to recruit your party before the action can begin.

Overall, "Inverloch" has been a fun read so far if a little slow. I am interested to see where the comic is going, though I wouldn't be surprised if not much happens in the next volume either.

This is the print version of an incredible webcomic. The story is inventive, and the art is beautiful. Poignant and funny, the story it tells is a serious one, yet it does not take itself too seriously. Excellent characters.

Still pretty standard fantasy RPG storyline, except in this volume, the two more are added to the party, the rogue and the mage :p Also Acharon is increasingly developed as the "nice guy" who wants to give everyone "a chance."

Better than the first volume but still a tad slow for my tastes.
