It's the dawn of a new school year for Fuyuki Hinata. As if the stress of starting junior high wasn't enough, he must also deal with Sgt. Keroro, the froglike alien with apocalyptic intentions freeloading in his attic. But if Fuyuki thought the Sergeant was a handful, wait until he gets a load of his subordinates! His gun-crazy subordinates have started to surface and not all of them agree with the way that Keroro's been running the invasion.

You meet a new caracter in this volume Giroro, a war crazy love sick (with natsumi)guy, he came in and booby traped the house but he didn't expect Natsumi to come back or be so strong. They have a battle (which Natsumi wins) and that's where he relizes he loves her. He tries to get them back on track with the invasion and he lives in a tent in the back yard. This book also show Tamama's jelsouly for Angol Moa (aslo called Mois) and her spending time with Keroro. In the end Saboro(natsumi's cursh and Giroro's enemy)incades their home and he introduces another member Kululu (the crazy messed-up inventor and basily smart guy of the platoon).
O.K., still not exactly sure what this is supposed to be about. A LOT of puns and jokes based on Japanese culture, anime, and other manga. Although, they are pretty good about giving you the info needed incase you don't know what they are referencing.
As I mentioned in my review for vol. 1, I bought this volume from a convention years ago. I got it from a used manga table along with a few other manga volumes and that at the time, I just wanted to have as much manga as possible. I don't do that anymore, I only buy books that I'm really interested in. Because I had this volume for years, I decided to finally read vol. 1 and 2 and see if I want to continue reading it and buy the rest of the series (which is 32 volumes long and out of print, so it won’t be easy) or if I just want to continue reading it but not buy the rest of the series. After reading vol. 2, I don't think I will buy the rest of the series, plus this series is out of print which gives me another reason not to get the rest of the series. While vol. 1 was entertaining, I was bored during some of the chapters in this one. I understood all of the references for the jokes but they just weren't that funny to me. Plus I was really mad during the new years eve cleaning chapters because the Sargent had the audacity to throw away Fuyuki's books. Fist of all, you NEVER throw books away, always either give them to someone or donate them to used bookstores or thrift stores because then they can find a new home. The only time it's acceptable to recycle books if they are very outdated textbooks or if the books are really damaged that they can't be read fully. Second, you can still buy new books even if you have lots of old ones. I have a mix of old books I've gotten 15 years ago and books I've gotten last month. I especially wouldn't let anyone throw or give away my limited edition books or favourite books. I now hate that Sargent frog alien because he did this and I can't believe that Fuyuki got swept away so easily🤦♀️
Overall, I'm already getting bored of this series and don't like the main alien frog and don't care about the other frog aliens, except maybe Private Tamama a little bit, he's fun and interesting while the other 2 are just really annoying. I was shocked to learn that Fuyuki is smarter than he seems. I don't know if I will continue reading this series, I definitely won't go looking for the volumes to buy.
This book is a really weird and funny. It is about a family that finds an alien frog in Japan 1999. They need to take care of the frog while the frog finds his comrades and plans to take over the world. The whole family is clueless about what the frog is doing. They just think he is a helpless frog.
Once again, Mine Yoshizaki manages to make me laugh. Throughout the book, whether it was witty remarks or references to pop culture, It was very humorous. Overall, the book was fantasic, and I cannot wait to continues the series.
