Comprehensive information regarding gut health.

Good no nonsense explanation of how the health of our gut impacts out general health and wellbeing. Well worth a read for anyone experiencing problems with their digestive system.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m not a beginner in this subject but I found the information here to be too general, mainstream & boring.

Good info on alternatives if you suffer from specific food allergies and intolerance. Also helpful is the part about food combining.

This book was, in many ways, a life saver. I had long battled with digestive "sensitivity" Not quite brutal enough to be considered IBS and not quite tame enough to be shrugged off as normal. Doctor after doctor told me nothing was wrong with me. I was not convinced. With the information I found in this book I was able to understand how very simple imbalances can cause chronic problems. It was also able to offer fairly sensible solutions to some of the issues. The author has a friendly and sometimes humurous writing style that helps better digest the subject matter (sorry couldn't help it ;) I was amazed at the amount of information that doctors simply ignore if there is not a test for it. You really are what you eat and small changes can make a huge difference! If you feel like something may not be quite right but doctors are telling you that you are perfectly healthy I strongly suggest you get a copy.
