If I hadn't finished the last of this study a year after I started it I would be able to give a more accurate rating. It is hard to remember everything about a study when it has been so long since I went through it all and I've done other studies since starting this one so they kind of all run together a bit.
This book was amazing and was exactly what I needed to read. I have been lacking in my faith this summer and felt this urge to get back with it. I've been having a problem with trusting God's plan whenever something would arise that I didn't want to have to face. This book was all about trust and radical obedience. I loved how it had a bible study at the end of each chapter where I really had to confront what has been holding me back in my faith. Finally, I loved how the author shared really personal and touching stories. Overall, amazing novel that really pushed me!
Radical obedience was the theme. Our duty changing to desire. Becoming a woman who says yes to God changes everything. We see life under a new lens. Will we get it right every day? No. But I serve a God who offers Grace and will use every part of my life to grow me. This is now my prayer for my life, to say yes to God!
I didn't find this study book necessary if you have the actual book. It was a nice place to take notes but a notebook would have also worked just as well. Enjoyed the study but not something that would be revisit in the future.
