Meandro's is so much more than a short erotic tale!

Tammi's love and determination stem from her stronghold, Tom. His praise and encouragement move Tammi to strive, push past those difficult moments, and for the first time in a long time, he made her feel like she was someone worth loving.

Life seemed to be perfect but in a single moment, a few words changed everything.

Quote: 'A huge, shuddering sigh racked Tom's body, and he gave me one last tight squeeze before he leaned back and met my eyes. His dark gaze was full of such sadness and despair that my chest tightened painfully. Suddenly, I didn't want to know what had happened at the doctor's.'

I've never read an erotic short that brought tears to my eyes until I was introduced to author, Sasha White's MEANDRO'S. If you're looking for a short read with a lot of heat and emotional ties, I'd totally recommend this book. I cannot imagine anyone would be disappointed, but I do believe it will tug at your heart and bring tears to your eyes!

Looks like I just joined the mile-high erotica book club. (Ha ha.)
The story, told with flashbacks, is full of love, pain, and spirit. A character, who is a dancer, is disabled by a car crash. Though the character learns to walk again (as best as can be expected), dancing at the previous professional level is not in the cards. It’s love that gets the character through. But then there’s tragedy. The story does have, at parts, a cool setting around the ancient Greek temples (such as Poseidon’s), which is what caught my eye.

A favorite part of mine:
“He was my perfect other half. I gloried in the knowledge that, with him, I’d found the kind of love I’d given up on ever finding — bone deep and unconditional. The kind of love that made it unbearable to contemplate what life had to offer me now that (spoiler).”

I love reading anything by Sasha White.

This is a short & super sweet story of love, hot sex, the loss of a loved one, coming back from it, living life. All this was captured in this short story.

Incredibly short and heartbreakingly sweet vignette about a husband and wife and her promise after his death. Again, not a whole story. *Sigh...

In just a few short pages Sasha White put me through all my emotional paces. Good gracious what a good book! Though Sasha hinted at the sadness that was to come, the story was captivating and kept me reading despite knowing there wasn't a happily ever after at the end. This is my first Sasha White book and I now understand why her tag line is "White Hot". Her writing is very descriptive and very steaming, definitely 'White Hot'. I lost myself in the story and hoped for more when I read the last page.
In such a small book Sasha conveyed so much emotion, love, grief, hope, wanting, and descriptive, steamy sex. I can't wait to read more. She paints a very vivid verbal picture that engaged the reader immediately and keeps us there until the hope filled end. I also love the symbolism of the dawn of a new day and a new life. Hopefully we'll be reading about Tammy's new dawn in another book. Thanks for sharing your insight and talents.
I have solved the Kindle for my PC issue and plan to be a reading machine.

This short story is definitely a journey, it's a journey of love, loss, and learning to live again. Tammi is an exceptional character and a fighter but what happens when you lose your reason to fight. Tammi picks up the pieces and attempts to move on but when all seems lost sometimes it's hard to do. This story was very real and although it did have a few steamy sex scenes I felt it was more about Tammi learning to deal with loss and regain control of her life. Not a light read but if you're ready for something that's going to pull at your heartstrings you should definitely give this one a try.

I very much enjoyed reading this short story, "Meandros: An Erotic Journey" and highly recommend it to others that are looking for a quick yet erotic read. I was surprised to see that it was both sad and hopeful and sexy. My kudos to the author for pulling it off so brilliantly. It is in fact a powerful read for such a short story. Go buy it, you know you want to!

In the policy of full disclosure, I did receive a free copy of this book for reviewing purposes.

It's a good story, but it really needs to be explored in depth. This could be done in 100 pages but it was too much too fast in such a short story. It has the potential to be a 5 star book but there just isn't enough time to develop a bond with any of the characters in such a short time. I'll definitely give the author credit for trying, she did an amazing job in so few pages.

I really liked this. It was so sad and brought tears to my eyes. But again damn it I wanted it to be longer. I mean the ending made me think there might be more later. I hope so. I really enjoyed the authors writing style.

This short is a tale of romance and sexiness, all rolled into a great story.
Tammy has been through enough tragedy, but fate had a different idea. Will she be able to overcome the pain?
This one is worth the read!

What an emotional roller coaster ride! I honestly can't believe how much Sasha White can get in a short story. My emotions were up and down with every page. She is amazing. When the story ended the one thing I wanted was MORE!!!!

sexy, maybe

i didn't get enough sex in the short story to call it erotic. maybe i expect more in very short stories. the two excerpts were closer to what i expect.

Not For Kids

A really fast read. It has its moments of erotica as well as drama. The storyline was simple but good. The perfect book for a quick lunch break but could do without the extras after the book ends.

The story takes place in a very brief time in the main character's present day. The rest of the story is told as bits of her past (which were very well written and emotional). But right when I thought we would be moving into the next chapter of the protagonist's life, the book ended. Abruptly, at that. Had this been the first few chapters of a longer, more well developed story, it would have easily rated four stars for me.

Also, the book ends 51% in. The rest is sample chapters for other books. Had I paid for Meandros, I would've been livid over this.

I liked the characters and the sweetness of new love. I liked the steaminess and the determination. This was a good short read and contained a lot in so little. Enjoy (both of the excerpts were great and pulled me in nice and good)

I knew it would be short....but it was also kind of unsatisfying. Was more depressing than erotic. Guess it didn't help that I can relate to the liver cancer story. So yeah.

I felt like the author couldn't come up with a proper ending for this already short story so she just, well, ended it.

Sad story

This story is just too short. Its like a prologue to what could have been a good story. the story is too sad it should have been given a better ending.

wow I didn't realize this book was so short. But wow it was good. I want more but I do understand why she ended it where she did.
