I shouldn't have read this! It is a depressing and bitter tale of horrid people and their petty and selfish inclinations. It's enough to make anyone despair of improving the state of things given the cronyism, back-stabbing and greed rife in the island state. Punch-ups and name-calling, men's clubs, hand-shaking, perks and rip-offs. The whole thing made my skin crawl.

A lot of name dropping and the story is all over the place but still an interesting retelling. Who knows how much of it is true...
