The Scooby gang gets real - AGAIN! Now Sarah, Freddie, Matthew, Linda, and Scooby himself are back on the big screen for the follow-up to the June 02 box office smash.
The kids from Mystery, Inc. are about to receive their highest honor yet... a lifetime achievement award from the Coolsonian Museum! The whole town of Coolsville has turned out to thank the gang for unmasking so many scary monsters.
But -- ruh-roh -- in the middle of the awards ceremony, Scooby and Shaggy accidentally set all the monsters free again! Now all of Coolsville hates them. Worse, the gang has got to capture all the monsters they've ever faced... at the same time!
This book was ok. It was mostly like the movie it was based off of but there were quite a few parts that were different and made the story a little weird. I didn’t like the changes that were made. They were harder to follow and just weren’t as good as what was in the movie. I don’t like that the book is told in first person from everyone in the gang except Scooby Doo. It’s confusing when it keeps changing who the “I” is in every chapter and it pretty much leaves Scooby out. Scooby is barely mentioned and is just kind of there throughout the book. Also the picture pages in the middle were pretty bad. They didn’t pick very good pictures for summarizing the whole movie and they weren’t even in the correct order. Overall I enjoyed reading this book but just wish it would have been done better.
i watched this movie when it came out and when i saw the book in the store i had to get it. i actually read it a couple of times when i was younger and i couldn't help but love the story. its obviously based on scooby doo 2 monsters unleashed (the movie) and of course the movie is better but i thought this book was cool to have <3
