Not her best by a long shot. There isn't a clear overarching theme (nope, it's not exodus...) that I could find and occasionally the illustrative stories come across as pedantic and moralistic. But my kids loved the devotional.

Highly recommended. My son has enjoyed many of Susan Hunt's books since he was about 4. It's all he wants to read at bedtime. We have reread the ABC books with Missy and Bill many times, and he memorized all 26 verses last year. The books with Cassie and Caleb were a hit as well.

Susan Hunt's devotional books for kids are just so good. We've read through this one twice.
