This book offers a bunch of silly and sometimes dangerous pranks that will supposedly help you get much needed emotional relief if you've been wronged. Why not just learn to communicate, i.e. talk, instead of engaging in these ridiculous retaliatory acts? I know this book is meant to be tongue-in-cheek, but it's not clever enough to be truly fun.

What I do appreciate about this book is that it's an artifact of its time: the pranks involve landline phones, cassette tapes, film cameras, and other technological staples of life in the late 1980s.

This book is a funny read, but I found myself shocked at some of the suggestions. Although I am a practical joker, I could not bring myself to use any of the suggestions/ideas in this book - they seemed a bit too mean. The mere thought of using these suggestions, however, was quite funny (including to a few people to whom I read some of the book). Additionally, the author uses a tone that adds to the impact of the ideas. A hilarious read -- just, please, don't take it seriously.

I found the book funny. I can totally see myself doing some light pranks written in the book. But some pranks were just so mean and destructive to beings and properties. Won't touch those.
