A very simple prayer book that would be appropriate for infants to young toddlers. I add onto the single sentences as I use it to pray in the mornings with Elliot. For example, the first page says “thank you for the food we eat” and has a darling illustration of animals eating a picnic. I add on that we are thankful for the food we have in our pantry and fridge, since he’s always interested in both of those!😂 The author and illustrator are the ones from one of our favorite bedtime books (I Love You Through and Through) so it was fun to see familiar illustrations.

My Review: This was a simple book for Munchkin. The prayer is a simple one for little ones to learn and memorize. The familiar Caroline Church style will also have them reaching for this book again and again. The simple lines and rhymes are soothing and make for a great bedtime read.

Thank You Prayer is the perfect book to remind us of what Thanksgiving is all about. It is a simple prayer thanking God for all the beautiful things He gives us each day. It is sweet and heartwarming, with adorable illustrations.

This is a great book to read with children around the holidays, or any day for that matter. It is a nice reminder that God is in our lives and continually blesses us.

This book is great for teaching children what to be thankful for. The story is very short and great for children with short attention spans, ages 3,4, and 5. The use of animals as characters is also appealing to young children. The theme of the book is being thankful for everything good. The genre is children's literature/ spiritual.

My daughter learned this prayer in nursery school, so I was very pleased to find it in board book format. A nice book for breakfast time or bedtime (or anytime, really), and also a nice baptismal gift.

A small but sweet little book of thank yous, based on the traditional child's prayer that starts, "Thank you for the food we eat,/ Thank you for the world so sweet." Illustrated with lively animals in cheerful bold colors. Ages 2-6.
