The Marquis de More truly lived a unique life, and this is a fascinating account of his days in the Old West and other areas around the world. He was a Renaissance Man and ahead of his time in many ways.

I thought the part of the book describing De Mores days in North Dakota was interesting because I live there. I had a hard time tracking all the characters names from his time in France and Africa. The use of french terms throughout the book was confusing. Overall the book was good and informative.

This was an interesting read about the Marquis from France who had many enterprises in many places including the badlands of North Dakota in the late 1800's.
