Didn't expect anything less from this one. Although I would have liked to have some surprise plot wise, as it's too similar to the movie. But in any case, I love the story either way. It has that feel of first love, youth and aesthetics all over it. The art is okay, basic manga art actually, so nothing interesting there. Again, the main thing about this one is the story. And if you loved the movie and want to revisit the story, this manga is for you!

Che siate amanti dei manga o no, leggete questa storia. Analizza l'amore con emozione e delicatezza, scava nel cuore dei personaggi tirando fuori ciò che hanno dentro, ciò che ognuno di noi ha dentro quando ama con tutto il cuore e vede il suo amore svanire o arrendersi. Non è una storia per bambini, è una storia adulta. Una storia che ci ricorda come l'amore sia amore ad ogni età, come non ci sia modo di sfuggirgli e come a volte, per quanto sia doloroso, il meglio che possiamo fare è voltare pagina.

Upon re-reading this amazing story, I have a newfound respect for the craft of this narrative and how the art and paneling contribute to the mood of the story. I haven't been able to get 5 Centimeters per Second out of my head for months, and rereading this manga only reminded me of why it's stuck with me for so long. The honesty and truth behind this narrative is both compelling and universal. I just can't say enough about this story. Read the manga, watch the film, be devastated and elated all at once. It's definitely worth it.

Credo che questo primo volume non possa essere giudicato da solo. Tutto dipende da come gli autori saranno in grado di chiudere la storia. Non ho visto il film, quindi per me il finale sarà una sorpresa.

É la storia di un ragazzo e una ragazza. Si incontrano per caso durante il primo giorno - per lei - di scuola e diventano amici. Leggono gli stessi libri e tornano a casa insieme. Poi lei si trasferisce di nuovo e i due cominciano a scriversi. Prima regolarmente, poi sempre meno. Infine, anche lui deve trasferirsi nel Kyushu e i due decidono di incontrarsi un'ultima volta. Neve e ritardi rendono complicata la cosa. Hanno entrambi scritto delle lettere per l'altro, ma non hanno avuto il coraggio di consegnarle. I due crescono, non si si scrivono più ma si pensano sempre.

Siamo nei primi anni Novanta, ma il mondo è lo stesso grande per due adolescenti. C'è ancora la consolazione della carta: ci si impegna per scrivere una lettera, la si imbuca e si aspetta una risposta. Man mano che i due ragazzi vanno avanti, si passa alle E-mail. C'è lui che ne scrive tante ma non le invia mai.

Due ragazzi soli che avevano trovato conforto nell'altro. La scrittura come compagnia. Ma anche capire che è difficile restare vicini quando si abita a mille chilometri di distanza (e lo dice una che ha trovato un fratellone finlandese per cui farebbe di tutto). Che magari la tecnologia aiuta, ma anche il contatto umano è fondamentale.

Vediamo come si chiuderà. Purtroppo non ho ancora il secondo volume e non so quando riuscirò a metterci le mani sopra.

first I read "the sky outside the window" one of drafted stories for 5 centimeter per second and I did not understand what's going on.so I stopped and I watched the movie Instead,and I'm glad that I did because when I saw the movie the three segments were fresh to me and It give different feelings :')

It's an excruciating journey of two lonely people and it transcends geographical limitations. I know a thing or two about writing letters to no avail, no one will read, no one will know. 5 cm per second by Makoto Shinkai is one of my favorite shorter books that I have read in a long while. I originally had watched the anime movie first, and had felt left in the dark in some spots. I then found out that there was a book, and I knew I had to read it instantly. There are so many beautiful quotes within these pages, and many lessons that I think are important to understand rather than having to experience them yourself. A lot of people when they read this book don't really understand the story or the meaning. This is a story about how people fall apart from each other slowly over time. 5 cm per second is the rate at which cherry blossoms fall, this is a metaphor for relationships. I think it's quite beautiful. If you need something to give yourself some heartbreak, this is definitely the book for you. These are some of my favorite quotes from this book. "Then one day I realized that my heart was withering, and in it there was nothing but pain. And that my beliefs, that I once held so passionately, had completely disappeared." My personal favorite is this, "Reality is brimming over with beautiful things, scintillating feelings. How many of them have I been missing?" I love this quote because I have depression, and often find myself missing out on the beautiful things in life because I'm too focused on my own dark mind. I give this book a 4 1/2 stars, but it wouldn't let me select half stars.

Teniendo como eje principal la distancia, el autor nos plantea una historia de amor y su trascendencia a lo largo de los años. La historia de ‘5 centímetros por segundo’ resultará familiar a cualquiera. En algún momento, todos perdemos algo, todos lamentamos perder algo y todos anhelamos algo que hemos perdido. Para Tohno Takaki esa es Shinohara Akari, su primer amor.

La historia está bien. No trata solo sobre el amor, pero este sí tiene repercusión en ciertas decisiones de los personajes. También habla de esa cuestión por la que hemos pasado muchos: no sé qué quiero hacer con mi vida y el futuro me asusta.

En cuanto al dibujo, los trazos e ilustraciones tienen mucho detalle y el resultado es un manga bonito, acorde con la historia que cuenta. A veces, el mismo dibujo es el que nos la narra.

この第２巻は前の本より良かったと思う。ただ貴樹君はやっぱ情けな���男なんだ。自分の気持ちそんなに語れないの？昔のことはそんなに忘れられないの？彼女のことまだ好きのなら、何で頑張ってないの？ああいう男は嫌だ。大嫌い！！

يتقابلان في الصف الرابع وتكبر علاقتهم ولكن نظرا ل ظروف عمل الاباء تتنقل الفتاة ل مدينة أخري لينتهي تواجدهم ف تستمر الرسائل بينهم والمشاعر ولكن مع الوقت وبعد المسافات تخفت الرسائل مع الوقت ويكبر السن ولكن مازال بداخلهم بعض الأمل

Mình đã xem phim từ năm cấp 2 và mình không hiểu gì nhiều về những gì bộ phim ấy truyền tải, nhưng giờ xem lại mình lại thấy man mác buồn. Cuốn visual novel "5cm/s" của Shinkai Makoto là một tác phẩm nghệ thuật đáng kinh ngạc, mình không thể tả hết được cảm xúc và cảm nhận về tác phẩm này trong vài dòng. Được ra mắt vào năm 2007, tác phẩm này không chỉ là một bộ visual novel thông thường, mà còn là một tác phẩm nghệ thuật đầy tinh tế và tâm hồn.

Điểm mạnh của "5cm/s" nằm ở cách tác giả đã đưa người xem vào một thế giới ma thuật qua từng hình ảnh và âm nhạc. Từ phong cảnh đẹp mê hồn đến những tư duy sâu sắc về tình yêu và xa cách, mỗi tập truyện đều mang đến cho mình những cảm xúc sâu lắng và nỗi niềm đậm sâu.

Mình không thể không kể đến độ tinh tế của cốt truyện và những tư duy triết lý được thể hiện trong "5cm/s". Tác giả đã kể câu chuyện tình yêu giữa hai nhân vật chính, Tohno Takaki và Sumida Akari, bằng cách sử dụng ba tập truyện khác nhau. Những tập truyện này tập trung vào các giai đoạn khác nhau trong cuộc đời họ, từ thời còn là học sinh trung học đến khi trưởng thành và vào đại học. Thông qua những tình tiết tưởng chừng như nhỏ nhặt, tác giả mang đến những suy tư sâu sắc về thời gian, xa cách và cách mà cuộc sống giữa hai con người có thể thay đổi.

Mình cảm nhận được sự tận tâm và tâm huyết của Shinkai Makoto đối với tác phẩm này thông qua cách anh đã tạo nên một không gian truyền tải cảm xúc và ý nghĩa. Từ màu sắc, cách vẽ chi tiết đến cảm nhận về âm nhạc, mỗi yếu tố đều hòa quyện với nhau tạo nên một tác phẩm nghệ thuật tuyệt vời. Nhạc nền của "5cm/s" cũng đáng chú ý với âm nhạc du dương, đầy cảm xúc, thêm vào đó là tiếng rì rầm của cánh hoa lá và tiếng đổ mưa, tạo nên một cảm giác thư thái và sâu lắng.

Tuy nhiên, điều khiến mình cảm thấy đáng tiếc là cuốn visual novel chỉ là một phần trong thế giới ma thuật mà Shinkai Makoto xây dựng. Những hình ảnh tuyệt đẹp và cảm xúc sâu sắc chỉ kéo dài trong một khoảnh khắc, và sau đó ta phải trở về thực tại. Dường như cuốn sách đề cao sự xa cách và tình yêu không đáp lại, điều này có thể khiến người xem cảm thấy đau đớn và buồn bã. Tuy nhiên, điều này cũng làm cho tác phẩm trở nên chân thực và đáng nhớ hơn.

Tóm lại, "5cm/s" của Shinkai Makoto là một tác phẩm nghệ thuật đầy cảm hứng và ý nghĩa. Từ những hình ảnh đẹp đến những cảm xúc sâu lắng, cuốn sách này thực sự là một tác phẩm đáng để trải nghiệm. For anybody who is stumped at the story's name, it's the falling speed of a cherry petal. Allegedly. Let's call the Myth Busters for confirmation. Regarding the speech bubbles, I've never been more confused who is speaking. Is whoever is responsable for them afraid to use a simple arrow to point at who is speaking? This drama features high-schoolers which tends to be cringy for me, but here it's done just right to keep me interested. Everything is PG13, at crush level, nothing is sexualised, so this story is for readers of any age.

Akari Shinohara is the new girl in class. Her status becomes less awkward when she meets Takaki Tohno who shows her around the school. The two become friends as they slowly learn more about each other. They become good friends and soon develop crushes for each other. Their exploration of their new feelings is interrupted when Akari's parents decide to move away.

They keep in contact via written letters. Takaki's family is also getting ready to move away to be even farther from Akari's new home town. The two plan to get together before that happens. The weather delays the trains, making Tohno despair about arriving at the appointed hour. They finally reunite 3 hours later. Akari waited for Takaki, never losing hope that they would reunite, perhaps for the last time before the sheer distance between their homes will make it too difficult to meet again. They have their first kiss and finally realise they love for each other.

Years pass and life goes on. A colleague named Sumida develops a crush on Takaki since the first day he joines the new school, but is too afraid to show him her feelings. She has to worry about her bad grades which means she won't qualify for university like Takaki who keeps thinking of Akari. Both Takaki and Akari are finding it hard to write each other. After sharing their most intimate moment, the distancing makes them feel the most profound loneliness.

Terus terang, saya kesal usai membaca komik ini meski selama membacanya saya cenderung merasakan sesak. Apa ceritanya jelek? Oh, tidak … ceritanya dalam pandangan saya bagus. Sungguh! Lantas yang bikin darah saya naik turun apa? Tokoh utama prianya! Karakternya membuat saya geleng-geleng. Meski demikian, buku ini termasuk salah satu buku favorit saya. Selain ceritanya, ya karakter tokoh prianya yang sukses meninggalkan kesan. Setiap kali saya bersama teman-teman menyinggung Makoto Shinkai jelas 5 Cm Per Second tidak mungkin meleset dari pembicaraan dan kami biasanya punya pandangan sama bahwa tokoh prianya ini definisi pria bucin yang enggak ketulungan, duh ….

5 Cm Per Second merupakan kisah kasih remaja pada umumnya. Kerap kita dengar jargon-jargon cinta: cinta pertama senantiasa berkesan; susahnya melupakan cinta pertama; cinta harus memiliki; cinta tidak harus memiliki; cinta itu harus diungkapkan; cinta cukup dalam hati saja; cintaku terhalang ruang-jarak-waktu dan gagal melewatinya; meski LDR cintaku baik-baik saja, dll., dll.

Bagaimana? Tidak asing, bukan? Lantas komik ini ke trademark yang mana?

akhirnya keturutan membaca komik ini, setelah sekiaan tahun nyari tidak ketemu, dan kalaupun ada yang jual, harganya selangit. Saya ucapkan terima kasih M&C akhirnya cetul lagi judul ini.

Membaca jilid 1 ini memang harus segera mmebaca jilid ke 2, setelah itu baru kembali baca jilid 1 hingga akhirnya kita benar benar paham emosi dan perasaan dari tokoh di komik. Tentang cinta pertama yang tulus, LDR , sesuatu yang belum selesai, dan cinta bertepuk sebelah tangan. Setiap karakter memiliki kisahnya masing-masing yang nantinya mempengaruhi bagaimana mereka dalam memandang dan menjalani masa depannya.

Sisi label dewasa yang ditabahkan dalam edisi baru ini cocok karena dalam ceita penuh monolog dalam memandang hidup, dan kisah atau cerita mereka akan lebih bisa dipahami /relate/mengena jika dibaca oleh pembaca dewasa.

La storia è particolare. Questo manga è identico al film. In questo momento non lo ricordo tutto. E ora sto sperando che il finale sia bello. Ma non mi sembrava che fosse felice... È comunque un racconto tranquillo e sereno. Stile Makoto Shinkai. Ma essendo precedente a Your name... probabilmente ho poche speranze nel finale felice. Intanto è bello.

I know this is only an adaptation so maybe i need to watch the animation but i think the story just rushes a lot.

Bisher eine sehr süße Geschichte. Mir hat vorallem die Reise im Zug gefallen, die hat viele Erinnerungen an früher zurück gebracht. Manche Szenenwechsel waren jedoch etwas seltsam, da sie von einem Panel zum nächsten passierten. Da hätte ich mir die Übergänge etwas besser dargestellt gewünscht.
