About the author

Hiro Mashima (Jap: 真島ヒロ) is a Japanese manga artist.

He gained success with his first serial Rave, published in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 1999 to 2005. His best-selling work, Fairy Tail, published in the same magazine from 2006 to 2017, became one of the best-selling manga series with over 72 million copies in print. Mashima began the currently ongoing Edens Zero in 2018.

Fairy Tail won the Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen manga in 2009, and Mashima was given the Harvey Awards International Spotlight award in 2017 and the Fauve Special Award at the 2018 Angoulême International Comics Festival.

Carino ma con Hiro Mashima è sempre la stessa solfa, con il protagonista maschio sclerato, i tatuaggi, le gilde, i design a caso dei personaggi secondari, i CoMpAgNi... ci tengo a sapere come finisce la storia, ma vorrei veramente che ci sia anche qualche cambiamento interessante.

Esse volume é bom desde o início. Eu amo as personagens femininas e a construção de mundo é interessante o suficiente até para alguém que não liga muito para jogos se interessar em Monster Hunter.
E é claro que tinha que ter um episódio clássico de praia no meio! Estou morrendo de rir até agora com a ‘armadura’ especial.

Este segundo tomo me ha gustado mucho más. Ya se va conociendo las personalidades de cada personaje y se van uniendo más nuevos. Se conoce el pasado de algunos de ellos, sobre todo del nuevo integrante que me ha parecido una historia muy bonita a la vez que dura.

Los monstruos que aparecen me siguen pareciendo una pasada y las escenas de acción y batalla están muy conseguidas. Tengo ganas de seguir descubriendo más de esta historia.
