This volume is more so a Cable and 90s’ Hulk comic (set specifically in relation to the Dystopia storyline centered on Maestro.) The Onslaught backdrop provides insight into how other Marvel entities are responding to the events, such as Apocalypse and Uatu. The five stars is not for story building but for world expansion. Onslaught is terrible at telling a conventional story. The event’s strengths lie in its integration of Marvel’s larger universe, a strength that likely annoyed many readers in the ‘90s when they discovered their ongoing arcs were being interrupted.

La novelización de la película en la que se narra el nacimiento de los cuatro fantásticos. Los científicos expuestos a una lluvia cósmica sufrirán mutaciones en el código genético. Los buenos ganan, los malos pierden.
