Hiring the girl of his dreams was supposed to bring them together, but she has a rule: no dating the clients.
After her last disastrous relationship, Kaitlyn Palmer has given up on love. She's ready to focus on growing her photography business and discovering herself, even if it’s hard to ignore the jealousy that creeps in during every romantic photo session.
Cody Nolan had put love on the backburner for years, but he’s finally ready to settle down. When he attends a charity fundraiser as a favor and wins a picnic basket date with Kaitlyn, he thinks she's smart, driven, and drop-dead gorgeous too. She's everything he's been searching for and more–and to make things even better, his hint-dropping mother will absolutely love her.
When their first interaction ends awkwardly, hiring Kaitlyn for brand photography seems like the perfect excuse to see her again until he discovers that she has one rule: no dating the clients. Now, Cody has to dig deep to convince Kaitlyn he’s worthy of a chance to prove he’s better than the other men who’ve hurt her.
Gabrielle Landi lives in Southern Indiana with her husband and children and has a soft spot for every stray cat that ends up on her front porch. When she’s not writing, she spends her time chasing children, wishing there was more coffee, and eating chocolate like it’s her job. If she had to write her own love story in tropes, it would include second chance romance and a secret relationship, and would be entirely unbelievable.
This is the perfect little meet cute story. It's a dual POV romance of two people who where not looking for love but it was dropped in their lap. You've got Kaitlyn who refuses to date a client due to past heartache and Cody who has a timeline that doesn't include a girlfriend right now. The meddlesome family will make you laugh while you're routing for them to get together. I couldn't put it down once I started reading.
This was such a fun, romantic (no spice/closed door) book. I love the family dynamics in both the FMC and MMC so much. If you are looking for a nice sweet, clean romance that you can read in 1-2 days tops, this is the book for you.
Falling for your client was a super fun clean romance book. Kait, a photographer, is scared to fall for a client again due to the disastrous relationship 💔she had with one already. Cody, a client, is willing to do anything to prove to her that they belong together and he won’t make the same mistakes. ❤️🩹
Kaitlyn Palmer. She’s a middle child of five with every sibling staring with the letter ‘k’. You can tell she’s kindhearted loving right from the beginning when she goes on a blind date in place of her shy sister. 📷💙
Cody Nolan. Single and ready to mingle~ and to get his mother off his case. When he meets Kaitlyn on the blind date he quickly realizes she checks all of his boxes. Luckily for him, his best friend is Kaitlyn’s cousin, which means he can see her again. 👷🏼♂️🤵🏼♂️❤️
This book had solid side character who had my laughing so hard. Justin, the cousin and best friend, was HILARIOUS! Although I have no idea what’s going on in his love life, but hey, it’s Justin. Nobody know’s whats going on 🤪. Then the family dynamics. Both were so fun and chaotic in their own ways and I loved reading about them. 🥡🎳Lastly, Natalie. AWARD FOR BEST FRIEND GOES TOOOOOO…. Her. Oh my gosh. She was so good at getting Kaitlyn out of her mental ruts and encouraging her to live and take chances. 🍨
Overall, a super fun book with funny banter and sweet story. 🧼There are a few swear words but nothing spicy 🧼. Have fun reading!
Kaitlyn Palmer has been burned by love in the past. So, when Cody Nolan shows up all knight in shining armor with excellent hair to persistently pursue her, she doesn’t quite trust it…or him. Can Cody prove to her that he’s not like the men who’ve hurt her before? Can Kaitlyn bring herself to let Cody in?
Kaitlyn and Cody’s story felt reminiscent of something that would happen smack in the middle of Stars Hollow. Complete with quirky side characters and charming local businesses, this book gives all the sweet, small town romance vibes.
While the love story had me anxiously turning the pages to see what would happen next, perhaps my favorite part of Falling for Her Client was the way Landi wrote the Nolan and Palmer families. Yes, chemistry between the two main characters is important (it’s a romance, duh), but for me the families stole the show. Their interactions were all so precious and genuinely delightful to read. I loved the crazy chaos of the large Palmer bunch, and the snarky banter at the Nolan dining table.
I can’t wait to see more of the Palmer family when we return to Hosta Falls!
This book was hard to put down, I kept telling myself “just one more chapter” until I finished the book! Lol. It was a sweet story, it was reminiscent of a hallmark romance except better because it was a book! The author did I great job setting up the characters so you feel like you know them and really care how their story ends. I am looking forward to reading more from the series!.

It was so sweet, funny, and romantic. I originally didn’t know that this was book 2 of a series now I want to go back and read the first book. I would recommend this series to anyone that wants romance, but not the spicy romance that is typically thrown all over TikTok, which is actually how I originally found out about this book which was refreshing. Now Cody Nolan is now on my book boyfriend list lol. I fell in love with him from the moment I started this book. 🥰🥰🥰 I WANT MORE!!!!
I really enjoyed this clean and sweet romance. It was the first time I’ve read this author. I read it in one sitting and didn’t want to put it down. I enjoyed the interaction of the characters. They were fun and it made me want to get to know them better. It is part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone.

So adorable and fun! He's shy so he becomes her client just to ask her out, but you guessed it "I don't date clients!" Then her cousin takes him to all of the family events so he could be with her to try and brake down her wall and go out with him. Does this work for him or will she stand firm.
Thanks to the author for providing this book for my honest review!

Love these kind of books where the characters try to resist falling in love but they do it anyway and then pretend like it isn't happening. Great characters to follow through this sometimes complex journey to love. Good read.

I'm new to this author but will definitely be looking out for any other books she writes. I love small town romances and this was up there with some amazing ones I've read. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I loved Falling For Her Client. Kaitlyn and Cody's story was so cute. I like the small town romance and how they end up on the date. The family dynamics are so authentic and fun. The storyline and characters are fantastic.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the first book of the author's that I've read & it definitely won't be the last. Although it's book 2 in the Hosta Falls Series, it's a standalone so you won't be lost if you haven't read the first. The synopsis lets you know what to expect so I don't need to add anything to make it more clear. It's a good & sweet dual pov romance about two people who weren't actively looking for love but found it anyways.
Because her last relationships broke her trust & used her for her work, Kaitlyn has no desire to get involved with a client again. Even if Cody isn't technically a client & she feels a pull towards him, she isn't willing to risk her heart again. Though she informs Cody of her no dating rule, she doesn't avoid spending time getting to know him. Of course she keeps pointing out that the times they meet aren't dates but even she admits to herself that they do indeed feel like dates. Although readers may want her to give in & date Cody already, her feelings & hesitation are understandable.
Cody doesn't do well with meeting new people so he doesn't make the best first impression when he meets Kaitlyn. He's anxious & becomes awkward not knowing what to say. However, he does knows that he wants to get to know Kaitlyn better. As he spends more time with her & becomes comfortable, he's able to show her his charm. Even though she tells him of her no dating clients rule, he's persistent. But, it's not the pushy kind & he acknowledges that if Kaitlyn seriously wasn't interested in him he would respect that. I liked seeing him fall fast & hard yet be patient with her to catch up.
This is slow burn romance but their moments getting to know each are nice so you won't mind. I liked how Cody admired her work & how she saw him for the gentleman that he was. Besides their romance, their friends & family will make you smile with their good natured teasing & support. I did think Cody's relationship with his father could have been further expanded on but it was okay either way. I am curious to learn more about Justin's story, which I hope we're getting a book for, & am ready for Natalie & Kyle's story next! Fans of small town romances will surely like this book.
