#4 in the Carrier series. One of the early books in the series about naval air power, while the action was exciting and the characters were consistent.

Carrier series - Carrier Group 14 in the North Atlantic as a resurgent Russia attacks Norway while NATO is in disarray. Russia declares an exclusion zone which the US President refuses to accept even while hesitating to fight for Norway. When Russia attacks Iceland and the Jefferson's fighters, the conflict becomes serious. Ending calls for immediate sequel.
