I won this book through the Goodreads giveaways and this book couldn't be more perfect for me!! I love all things domestic and cooking and this book suits me well. The first thing that I noticed about it was that it was spiral bound so it could be easily laid out on the kitchen counter for reference.
The book is broken into 2 main categories, Cooking and Homekeeping. Under the cooking section, there are sub sections for cooking tips, party tips and a substitution chart. Each sub category is well laid out and so helpful. I was so excited to see the substitution chart as I'm always looking up substitutes on the internet and now it is in one place for me.
The second section of the book is Homekeeping and the sub sections are random thoughts, double duty, green cleaners, and problems solved. There are microwave tips and cooking in the microwave. I think the double duty tips are brilliant! I will be using many of them and will now keep my eye out for double duty tips of my own. The green cleaner section is also useful. I don't like to use many harsh chemicals to clean with since I have children and I love that I can make them myself. Besides being green, it will save money.
If anyone has considered buying this great book, you must!! It is a must for any household.
