From a young age, I struggled to find the answers to what I think of are life's fundamental questions: Who am I? and Why am I alive? I found those answers for myself after much study and circumspection, culminating in strict fasting and meditation on top of Moak Mountain in South Korea more than 30 years ago.

What I discovered opened up a new life and a new world for me. Since then, I've sought to find ways to help others answer those questions for themselves, and live healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives as a result. All of my work is focused on developing methods for this and sharing them with as many people as possible. I believe when enough people know their true nature and purpose and are empowered to live by it, the world will become a place of dreams; heaven will be expressed on earth.

This is the purpose and content of all of my books. I hope they enrich your life by reading them.

It was a quick read, and it had some helpful reminders in there on positive thinking but it essentially promises a miracle if you just shake parts of your body. I noticed a number of people testifying they had done "brain wave vibration" for a month and it was great. "I lost 14 pounds!"

It is always frustrating to hear that "illness is a result of misbalance in the body; an equilibrium issue" or a result of negative thought. While I can believe in some cases negative energy manifests in the body, I also find it insulting knowing people who have/had cancer who have little to do with negative thoughts... or just having read "Radium Girls" - those women had a shutdown of their body from a work hazard, not negative thinking.

So although I do think the mind and body connection is important and has some power and energy to benefit us, I am not sold on this "get fit quick" scheme. I shake my head at it. Lol. (That is a joke because that is the start to the exercises that are supposed to drastically change your life.) Who knows, if I shake my head/body long enough and get something out of it... I will cone back and update this review.

The reading could have been shortened and the exercise portion (the objective of the book) short. Probably this could have been turned into a pamphlet. I am going to try and incorporate the simple techniques to see if there is any worth. You can find lots of videos of his on line which is probably all you need.

Brain wave vibration for health and happiness seems interesting to me. Some of his philosophy is outside what I believe, but the basic exercises seem like they could affect your health positively.

This book looks at an extremely simple way to access the physical and mental healing power that already exists within the human brain. The claim is that this can help to better manage stress, find your higher self and rediscover physical vitality.

The physical world is full of vibrations. Sound waves are vibrations, it could be said that light waves are a form of vibrations, and brain waves are also vibrations. "Stress" is a major cause of physical and mental illness in our present-day world. Perhaps a cause of stress is our brains being somehow out of alignment with the natural level of vibrations. If our brains could be "re-aligned," the possibilities are interesting.

Have you ever been in a good mood, and have that mood suddenly disappear in the presence of a sullen, angry person? Alternatively, have you ever been in a bad mood, and the presence of a happy and optimistic person makes that bad mood not so bad? Maybe it’s possible to be "sensitive" to the brain waves of others, or to have strong brain waves that can affect other people.

What is this very simple method to change one’s life, a method that can be taught in a couple of minutes, and can fit on one piece of paper? It is rhythmic vibratory shaking of the head, or the whole body (the book goes into detail). This will create brain waves that will promote mental and physical well-being. The brain stem is the healing center of the brain. If it can be accessed the right way, lots of good things can happen. This can also quiet the constant noise of the prefrontal cortex, which is the thinking part of the brain, letting the brain stem do its thing.

The average person may consider this way too simple, and more than a little silly, but what have you go to lose? This technique takes only a couple of minutes at a time and can be done anywhere, including at your desk (any way to reduce workplace stress is automatically a good thing). This book is very easy to read, and it may be just the thing to change your life.

Disappointed in the lack of explanation of the workings of the brain stem in these methods. I'm not skeptical of the claims or the techniques, but the book isn't all that informative. I tried two modified techniques yesterday and feel like they did shift my energy in just a minute or so. Might upgrade my rating later if I grow to love them, despite the disappointment in the book.

I have been practicing BWV for a good amount of time before I decided to read this.
I enjoyed it immensely for I had plentiful of "aha!" moments of agreements and learned more valuable insights.
Experiencing it before reading it, I realized how grateful I am to have great trainers/instructors.
A must read for those who wants to recover their original human characters.

This book contains a very basic technique that in just one moment you can experience and do. But I appreciate how the author, Ilchi Lee, added basic ideas about why and how it works so well. I tried it and keeping the concepts in the book in mind, I was able to feel more at peace. I recommend this book to those that need a way clear their minds.

This edition clarifies some key concepts for brain management. I absolutely love the exercise of Brain Wave Vibration as a tool for clearing my brain and improving inner focus. For someone who tends to have a million plans racing through my mind at once, this book has helped me to be more present and aware of what I'm doing in each moment.

A simple way to change your mind and change your mood. This book is based on the premise that each person is the master of his or her brain and that controlling what information gets to stay in your brain is a personal decision.

This could be quite possibly the most important book you can read about health and well-being. It explains the self-healing power of the brain stem. If we can shut off our minds (neo cortex) and the limbic system (emotions) we can begin to heal ourselves. Excellent, simple, dynamic and practical!
