From childhood friends, to teenagers in love, to adulthood tied up,in a pretty bow.
This went from past to present, swiftly, so swiftly I thought I’d skipped a chapter or so because there was no warning whatsoever.
Their parents were best friends so it just made sense that Jared and Sawyer would follow in the footsteps of their parents and also become best friends, to more, but out of the blue the adults fell out, Jared and his parents moving overseas leaving Sydney reeling from the pain of losing her best friend and lover all in the blink of an eye, promises that they would always keep in touch and be together when they reach age.
From the devastating breakup, to re-connecting years later this showcased perfectly how it impacted their lives and the emotional turmoil it placed on them made for a heartbreaking read.
The 💣💣💣💣 dropped in the very last chapter had my head reeling, but the epilogues (1 & 2) made it all worthwhile.
We know for a fact that this author is the queen when it comes to giving us readers an angst filled reads and this book was no different, the bombshells wrapped up in twists kept coming leaving me gasping in their wake. Some were a wee bit over the top but still made for an enthralling read.

Wow, there is just so much going on. Too many villains, too many bad parents, too many secrets, too much drama.
At the end, the hits just kept coming.
Just an example, one of the evil doers is shot in the head but the rumor mill is he/she was lost at sea and eaten by sharks. EATEN BY SHARKS.

Here we have another heartbreaking but ultimately rewarding romance novel from Siobhan Davis! This book was epic! It’s an angsty second chance romance that will have you glued to the pages. It’s a slow burn too and normally that’s not my thing but I feel like it’s so worth it in her books! Siobhan makes her characters WORK for their HEA and while there are many roadblocks and moments that you wonder if it could happen, it makes the ending so much better! I loved this one. Also, the cameo from characters in previous books made this one even better! Highly recommended!

Actual rating: 2.5 🌟
Pacing felt weird, the climax + how it all tied up kinda felt like a cop out. There were scenes and descriptions that were so unnecessary which felt kinda dragging. Characters aren’t fleshed out as I would’ve liked.
There was a plot twist in the story which explains both MCs history. Normally, I would love a plot twist but the build up and how it was delivered was not it for me.
Sad thing was, I went in expecting something good because I’ve seen reviews about it and me being the ultimate sucker for second chance romance I had to take a chance but this didn’t do it for me.

It was a great story, with tons of characters that were already formed couples, so I guess I should have read a few books before that. 🤣

We first meet Sydney in Sawyer and I’m so happy to see her get her HEA. She is trying to live her life and gone through many traumatic experiences. I do prefer an h who’s more innocent in experience but this does go with the storyline.
√ No cheating and mild OW/OM drama
Trust me… anger will rise with the OW drama for sure!
√ Cameos from some other SD characters
Dirty Crazy Bad 2 (Ashley's cousin). Jared tie-in with Still Falling for You (Ryder's half-brother Wilder is in a band with the H in TITMH and the band is signed to Ryder's label) a little tie-in with Reforming Kent (Presley's ex Linc is in the band.) And of course Xavier steals any scene he is in ♥️
And now, the greedy part of me wants a book for Linc and Wilder 🫠
Duet narration flowed well and really brought the emotions out!

Once I started this book, I could not put it back down.
I knew going into this that this book was going to be another Siobhan book that made me bawl my eyes out and I was definitely right.
She always manages to tell a story in such a way that you get so invested and the emotions between the two characters are so intense.
I loved Jared and Sydney’s story. In Sawyer’s book, I’m the beginning, I was not a fan of her but by the end I was curious about her. This book made me fall in love with her. I never would have expected what we would put in the end, Siobhan did such a good job at keeping that aspect hidden and I am amazed.
Loved this story and definitely recommend everyone read it.

I always know to prepare myself before diving into any book or story written by Siobhan Davis. It’s always an emotional ride and the build up to the top makes you breathless and as you fall down with the characters you hang on for dear life wondering what’s going to happen next.
Tell It To My Heart brings us young love torn apart at a pivotal moment. Separated for years to only be brought back together in a moment of fate.
Sydney Shaw and Jared King were meant for each other from the moment they were born. In each other’s life until their parents ruined their lives as teenagers and put an ocean between them. This was full of twists and turns with results that are shocking.
I loved how determined Jared was once he saw Sydney again. He was not letting her go ever again and he proved to her that she was the love of his life. Sydney had been put through hell in the time that they were not together.
For Sydney it’s only been Jared, she’s left a trail of broken hearts over the years because she has never gotten over her heart being broken by her true love. She’s also never stopped loving him.
Lies, betrayals and secrets are revealed that are jaw dropping to say the least. I loved seeing some past characters from other books in this one too.
I read this in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down! From the beginning, the story wrapped around my heart and I had to know how it ended. Who needs sleep when you can read all night and then dream about your new book boyfriend once your done. Win win!

Tell It To My Heart by Siobhan Davis is the story of Sydney and Jared. This starts their story of young love that both knew it was going to be a forever love. But, they ended up being pulled apart with family not wanting them together and long with misunderstandings. Now in their present day they have come face to face with one another again. This book does go through when they where young to their story of trying to go forward without each other. I highly recommend this author's writing and I can't wait to read more from her.

This book was so bad. Miscommunication, immature teens acting like adults. Just so bad. And I seen the whole are we actually siblings freak out coming from a mile away. Please don’t waste your time on this one.

Oh my goodness! Siobhan has done it again. She knows how to lay out an incredible love story, one that’ll tear your heart apart, but she always delivers that happily ever after. I was so scared going into this one because she kept saying it’d be emotional, and I know from her past books that this very incredible and talented lady knows how to write emotional angst. But she also said she’d make everything better by the end, and things aren’t exactly as they may seem. And as promised she delivered a perfect ending!
Sydney and Jared are true soul mates, first loves, best friends and each other’s forevers. They had everything planned until they were tore apart by lies, leaving each other heartbroken. They had their futures stolen from them and my heart was broken for what Sydney went through. I honestly don’t want to say much and spoil this incredible book. The emotions I felt while reading this were all over the place- happiness, heartache, anger, frustration, sadness and then anger and happiness all over again. I was feeling and thinking one way throughout the whole book and then the ending came and the truth came out and my jaw hit the floor! I didn’t see any of it coming. And there was one thing I was hoping wasn’t real, but then I lost that hope for bit, but then nope Siobhan flipped stuff again and I was so freaking happy! And I had a little tear in my eye at the end with Sydney and her dad. I hated that man so much, but hearing his words to Sydney, it got me a little emotional. But because of Xavier and his humor I laughed too. Oh I can’t forget to mention how awesome the side characters were- Ash and Cay were the best friends ever to Sydney, and I loved how Linc and Wilder were, they were great friends and so welcoming of Sydney. And I have to say, I’d love to get a story for Anvil. He wasn’t perfect by any means, but he was suffering too.
I’ve read several of Siobhan’s books and some I read several times a years, others I’ve only been able to read once. But one thing I can guarantee is her books will stay with you long after you’ve finished. She is one author who can write any genre and tropes and she nails it each and every time. You feel the pain and everything emotion her characters go through.

After reading Sawyers book I was always intrigued by Sydney and I new her story would be one that would truly hit all the emotions and have you blubbering like a baby and this story had me in tears and then giggling! This is a complete standalone!
Sydney and Jared are absolutely beautiful together even more so after they had all the hard conversations and figured their stuff out. I was hooked from the first page and couldn’t put this book down. It was also nice to see a few familiar faces pop in here and there.
If your a Siobhan Davis fan you will not be disappointed with this story it has everything we know and love about her writing and her worlds. Definitely not one to miss!!

This author is a rockstar! Everything she writes is pure gold. I remember Sydney from appearances in other books and I was also curious what her story was. Let me tell you this was not what I was expecting, but in the best possible way. If your looking for badass, strong, resilient woman then look no further than Siobhan Davis. Sydney is loving and caring and 10000% deserving of her happy ending and the world to know her story and her voice. Keep ‘em coming Siobhan!!!!

This book for me was extremely cathartic.
We met Sydney in Sawyers story as part of The Rydeville Elite series and I always wondered what happened to her… Would she ever work things out with the man that broke her heart? Could she ever get over the terrible things she went through? Did she regret the whole Sawyer debacle?
Well this book answered my questions and more. Now the best thing about this is you don’t actually need to read Sawyer to read this as it’s technically a standalone and does go through her history but it is fun to know little snippets and see the Easter eggs in the book.
Honestly Sydney and Jared’s story is truly incredible. A book full of angst and pain but let’s be honest it’s a Siobhan Davis book, what did we expect? Lol it’s amazing, it made me cry, made me laugh, made me have those awwww moments and of course steamy.
Cannot recommend enough!!

This was a standalone story, and you do not have to read any other books/series to enjoy it. I love Siobhan so much for gifting us newsletter subscribers this story (You can subscribe to her newsletter here: https://bit.ly/TITMHDLGR for your own free copy). I enjoyed getting to know Sydney. She went through so much, and I so needed her to have her own happy. Sydney was such a fighter, and I was really rooting for for her and Jared. They both had so much baggage, and things seemed unsurmountable at times. I always love when my favorite characters from other series pop in, and we got so much of that here. Again, you don't need to have read those to follow along and enjoy this story, but this definitely makes me want to read them all again just because I love all the characters so much. Such a great story, and I look forward to reading it again!

Tell It To My Heart by Siobhan Davis is a stand alone coming-of-age, second-chance rockstar romance, and I absolutely loved it! If you've read the All Of Me duet by her, this one gave me those feels. Classic Siobhan at her very best!
Jared and Sydney were soul mates from the time they were young, and nothing or nobody could stop it from happening. This book kept me enthralled from beginning to end, and there aren't enough stars in the universe to rate this one! Honestly, this one is a must read and highly recommended with all the stars!

Tell It To My Heart is a very emotional read! The love that Jared and Sydney hold is immeasurable. The way they were ripped apart had me sobbing! I hurt so much for Sydney. I love that fate came out to play in this book because once Jared appeared back in her life, that was it all bets were off and truths were going to be revealed!
I love how honest, loving and strong Sydney was! Her whole world crashed and she still managed to pick herself up and find a path. She is definitely one of my fave David heroines. Jared is seriously so dang sweet. I love that him and his band aren’t your typical rockers. He’s not a cocky jerk just a man who loves with his whole heart!

TITMH is sweet. It links into a bunch of Siobhan’s other books, but you can read it if you haven’t read any of her books (or like me, haven’t read the others in ages) and it will make sense.
I really enjoyed the plot. The twists and turns reminded me of why I love Siobhan’s writing so much, and also made me realise a re-read of her books is overdue. I loved how the story was more than just the MMC/FMC - Siobhan brought in a number of her other characters and used them beautifully.
Our main couple - I like them as individuals. As a couple? I didn’t feel it as much at the start. When their separation became imminent, I felt they connected more…but I don’t think they’ll ever be my favourite Siobhan couple.
My one request would be a note at the end of the book mentioning which of her books the side characters feature in.

My Review: Tell It to My Heart by Siobhan Davis was an intense second chance love story with ups, downs, and in betweens throughout.
About the Book: Jared King and Sydney Shaw were the best of friends, once upon a time. They had grown up together. In doing so, it was natural for their close friendship to blossom into something more. They soon shared a beautiful, innocent, real love and promised themselves to each other. Unfortunately, nefarious forces were at hand and separated the young lovers before they could find their forever.When an unplanned meeting brought the two together again ten years later, unresolved feelings still lingered. Closure was sought, and that's when all hell broke loose.
Will the ex-lovers find their way to true reconciliation? Will they uncover the truth of what really transpired in the past? Can they have a future together as they had always planned?
My Final Say: There was a lot going on in this book. (Oh my!) My heart broke for this couple. They were hit on all sides. What they both endured was akin to an emotional and mental tidal wave. And what Syd faced was horrendous. In the end, all I can say is that this book was extremely heavy.

Siobhan is back with her contemporary romances that always hit right in the feels. Jared and Sydney have such a tale that mu ‘second chance romance’ loving heart absolutely adored.
This one is a standalone about forgiving and all the second chances. It was a light read for me with some angst and all the happy endings. Jared and Sydney took me out on a wild ride and now I can’t get them out of my mind.
Definitely recommending them to all the contemporary romance Loving people out there.
