It’s dated but not obsolete!

The author correctly recognises (or predicts, rather) that dating apps lead to spiritual impoverishment, and that true romance requires narrative embedded in the whims and providential workings of history.

The writing style is funny but dry and suffers from a mild case of Girl Interrupted Syndrome but it reminds me of my own diary so I mustn’t be too harsh.
