My son got this book at the library today and we just read it. It was a short book, and I felt the plot was pretty simple and formulaic.

For instance, at the end of the book they have to race up the castle tower to save the princess.

I guess the big twist is that to defeat the king they have to feed his octopus dragon a krabby patty hamburger.

I guess I just gave it all away. Oh well.

We are loving your readings of Lost in Time: A Medieval Adventure by Nickelodeon Publishing! Thank you so much. If you did know that, then we guess you’ve already learned all about bravery, resourcefulness…and making sure to always help anyone in need. This whole story would also tell people that you can do anything with willpower and courage. distances like this one to show you can be brave in new situations, and have a listening ear to those always needing help.

In this book Spongebob along with his friend Patrick go to a restaurant that is medieval times. They both get selected to play the game of jousting and they both get into an accident. In their dreams they are two knights on a quest to save the princess but with a few obstacles in their way. Once they beat the King Jelly fish they got the princess to safety but coming back they suddenly woke up. They both remember they were at the restaurant and Patrick asked to eat, again!

This was a funny book and I would recommend to a second or third grader. The pictures looked identical to the ones from the famous cartoon show but had the characters dressed put in medieval times outfits. This book would be good for when the child is needing to use their imagination and outside the box.

Spongebob is not that great, but my daughter enjoyed reading this story. We don't watch the television show.
