The combination of this text, along with the online video lectures, creates the most informative and easy-to-understand ophthalmology review ever written. It is geared toward medical students, optometry students, and non-ophthalmologists who want to learn more about the eye without getting bogged down with mindless detail. The book is broken down into ten 1. Eye History 2. Anatomy 3. Glaucoma 4. Retina 5. Infection 6. Neuroophthalmology 7. Pediatric Ophthalmology 8. Trauma 9. Optics 10. A perfect intro for Ophthalmology; a book that doesn't take itself too seriously, & also doesn't oversimplify things to absurdity.
You can finish the book quickly & have no trouble understanding or retaining it. Definitely better than most of the other books in the same field out there.
I loved this book! It was a fun read, and good content review at the same time. Material is explained in a simple way, with review questions at the end of each chapter. If you love Dr. Root's videos, you'll love the book as well.
I highly recommend this book!!! It helped me pass my COA and train other technicians. It’s entertaining and easy to read. It was written in a way that anyone would pick it up and understand it.
