Man these were good books. I am Ninja.

I loved these books. I only read/played. Avenger, Assassin and Usurper though. I got older and lost touch. I did not realise there were more. I will have to check them out.🐯👍

The world of Orb is made richer as each book in the series progresses.

I read this several times as a kid. Just before the age of computer games came along as changed the world forever. It's definitely one of those childhood experiences that creates an endearing and treasured set of memories. I recommend it to any parent who wants their child to enjoy reading a book over sitting infront of an Xbox.

The series picks itself up again after the rather disappointingly brief excursion that was Book 2. A surprisingly dense amount of adventure and encounters packed into this one, a lot more varied in landscapes and beings than before, with an organized popular uprising and revolt thrown in for good measure. The boss fight was sheer brutality, though I wonder how many readers actually bothered leaving the battles to dice rolls.. By the end the hero has overthrown the titular usurper to his rightful throne, and appears to transit to the larger scale of ruler-ship in the next book.

С тази книга също се сдобих антикварно доста след издаването ѝ. Тази поредица беше може би най-добрата преводна изобщо (мани го Меча), с разнообразна бойна система и по-смислени избори. Също много ме кефеше нарисуваната смърт с косата в края на всеки епизод с фатален край :)
