Il est diplômé de l'École supérieure des sciences économiques et commerciales, droit, Sciences Po et titulaire d'un DEA d'études cinématographiques depuis 1984. Il a également pris des cours de théâtre et de commedia dell'arte. C'est son travail de journaliste pour la presse écrite à Lire et l'Expansion qui lui apprend le métier d'auteur, il devient écrivain à 33 ans.

This beautiful coffee table book contains vast historical mentions of many supernatural beings in Europe and the United States and the crucial roles they play in nature and the urban lives of people who worship, revere, fear, avoid and honor them.

The illustrations are varied, ranging from drawings, lithographs, painting reproductions and photographs. Many are gorgeous, humorous or horrifying. This isn’t a Disneyfied collection for children but an artbook suitable for the adult who prizes tales of the wee folk and the backgrounds that fostered them.
