Ridiculous,
Mita Cruz, also known as Sweet Lips, is a beautiful Latina woman that men and women both lust after. From an early age she has had it rough. Mita's mother and stepfather, strung out on drugs, didn't give a damn about her well being. At the age of fourteen, her mother sells her innocence to the highest bidder for their next hit. Soon after, Mita discovers she is pregnant.
When Mita gives birth to her daughter and the baby is immediately taken away and placed in foster care, she snaps and commits murder. Mita is then placed in prison for twenty-one years. As soon as she is released, she is determined to find her daughter, by any means necessary. Little does Mita realize, she may just be closer than she thinks.
"Damaged" by LSD Gonzales was an absolutely ridiculous novel. Aside from the fact that the book had editing issues, the story was over the top, very predictable and some parts of the story just did not make any sense whatsoever. It was like the author was trying too hard by throwing too much into the mix. I cannot in good conscious recommend this novel to anyone.
