Jamie lives on the edge of the rugged beauty of the Peak District with her American Civil Partner, Mary Ann and their four cats.

Brought up in rural South Warwickshire, Jamie gained a degree in Architectural Studies at Sheffield University and then stayed. After drifting into software design and development some fifteen years ago, she still hasn't escaped. While she works with the technology of the present, what interests her is the past. After years as a re-enactor and living historian, she is now studying archaeology part-time. A keen reader, writing is a recent development, drawing on her favourite genres of historical and speculative fiction.

Excellent. Good characters, good mystery, good setting. Somewhat unpleasant at times, but due mostly to the prevalent nature of the country and time.
