Silvio's tiling skills are top notch, but his luck isn't. He's hired to rebuild an ancient ceremonial bath for a private collector of antiquities. Although the job pays well, he suspects that his work will be put to use for something other than a creepy fetish. Originally appeared in the September 2008 issue of "The Harrow". The rights have since reverted back to me.
No longer available as standalone book. Included in my short story collection, "We'll Watch the Sunrise from the Bottom of the Sea".
Before I started writing, I was a reader. I came to Goodreads as a reader, but since then, I've become a writer as well. But the way Goodreads handles these things, you're kind of one or the other. If I had to do it all over again, I think I would've formed two separate accounts. But since it's too late for that, engage with me as a fellow reader or as a writer.
Anyway, here's my "new and even more improved" bio:
David's cave is snuggled amongst the southern New England forest that covers the foothills of the Berkshires. If you hear strange metallic melodies, you might spot him feeding the birds, growing strange plants, or brewing fermented concoctions as he waits for the stars to fall from the sky.
I enjoy writing and wish I did it more. But I seem to be enjoying playing TTRPGs online a bit too much.
