It was mostly a lot of common sense: don't be too overweight or underweight, make sure you get enough nutrients, etc. Honestly, I felt like the first half could've been filed under 'Tell me what to eat to be really healthy.' Then another part of the book was all about things that 'may or may not help you conceive.' What is the point of that? It would say, "Some people swear by X...but too much X has been shown to be bad for you. So if you don't already use X, you might want to think about using some. If you already use X, you may want to cut down." Those words were used so many times throughout the book about so many nutrients/foods, that it became annoying.

This book was helpful in the sense that it is always helpful to find out new ways to be even healthier. But at the same time, I don't feel like it was really specific to conceiving. Now I know what doctors mean when they say 'Don't read too many baby books,' because this became overwhelming at times. Definitely not a must-read, but it's helpful if you're looking to improve your health naturally.

Pretty basic information, nothing groundbreaking. There's minor grammatical errors, which I only noticed because the general tone of this book is not exactly riveting.

The recipes in the back are not for me. I will eat celery. I don't mind jalapenos from time to time. I really enjoy oranges... But all together? A purple onion, orange, jalapeno, kiwi fruit, black pepper, mango, celery, olive oil and mint salad just sounds like someone is trying to clear out their vegie crisper before they go on holiday by eating everything, all at once.

Filled with typos, this book would be useful if I thought the author and publisher paid attention to details. The content may be accurate, but how do I know if spelling errors are not even corrected? I am glad I did not pay for this book.

I will use some of the information in this book, but I will verify it with other sources before I actually put it into practice.
