"JLA: Welcome to the Working Week" is a thoughtful and surprisingly poignant look at the the workings of a top level super team from the "fly on the wall" perspective of a hidden observer. Written by well known actor and celebrity Patton Oswald, this twenty year old book has survived the test of time without being overly dated. This book is recommended for fans of the "classic" Justice League and anyone who enjoys superhero stories told from the perspective of non-powered individuals.
The actor/comedian Patton Oswalt wrote this fun and funny comic about spying on superheroes for a week. Nice plot twist at the end. I don't know that much about comics, so I'm sure a lot of the jokes and references went over my head.
I forgot how much fun this little comic was, and to think, the voice of Remy the Rat-with-great-taste-and-excellent-cooking-skills from Ratatouille wrote this little gem: Patton Oswalt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A2tCA...
Underappreciated and fun, with striking Patrick Gleason art.
The book just didn't deliver on the hype on the back cover. The art was great but the panel composition lacked. One star for art, one star for premise and Patton.
