There are no real secrets here, despite the title, but it is a well-organised, nicely designed book on presentation skills. Well worth investing a couple of hours reading.

One of the most dispensible skills in life is public speaking. For anybody who looks for leadership in any area, the ability to give a rousing speech plays an important part. Public speaking is often seen as something you can or cannot do. In other words, it is all about nature rather than nurture. Some can do it and some cannot. While it is true that most of us will never come close to the exalted oratory of a Martin Luther King Jr, John F kennedy or Winston Churchill, taking on board the tips, Manser provides will enable us to present well, if not brilliantly. he provides a great summary of the important aspects of public speaking such as how your prepare, use your words, body language and interact with the audience. It is a good introduction and summary for anyone - whether inexpereinced or inexpereinced - because there is always something there for all of us to learn. For example, I liked the tip on managing your nerves.

Whenever I read a title that abuses the over-used stale & insignificant cliché ‘Secrets’ I become skeptical and an outright defensive critic. But Marin Manser neutralizes this prejudice with a creatively concise, comfortably condensed and charismatically concocted copy on the characteristics of communication

It seriously amazed me with the amount of content he managed to compress in this easy to read and well presented digest. In fact, if one had to incorporate every piece of advice stated here, he would without a doubt be the presenter to look out for.

Woven in the fabric of experience and presented in the brilliance of a creative mind, this is a generous serving which you must not miss getting your hands on.

For its price, its simplicity and the nuggets of wisdom, this book is everything you need as a communicator and presenter.
